The death penalty is just a primitive kneejerk approach that's in place for the purpose of avoiding responsibility for the existing clusterfk situation.This is why Mental Hospitals should not have been closed. There's a special place in hell for anyone who would do something like that.
Too bad she won't have a speedy hanging after the conviction. If we could get back to that, it would save a lot of money and make things a whole lot safer for everyone. It would also serve to give the grieving mother closure sooner rather than later.

The trouble with capital punishment in this case is that the toddler could have been packing heat.I'm interested in killing killers that have been found guilty quickly after they have been found to be so and not
feeding them and paying for their babysitters for 20 years or possibly the rest of their lives.
They took a life wrongly and should forfeit theirs, not contribute to growing a massive prison/judicial/government/fascist system.
