UK has a global tariff on all goods imported, unless you have a trade deal, which, as far as I can tell, UK doesn't have a trade deal with the US

As you describe this, Trump is far smarter than our media. Bear in mind just because he came back as president does not mean the media plans to binge on being honest. They will smear him daily. What the media is not telling the public is what has happened to China. They do not mention the closed down Chinese factories or the fact workers end a shift one day and come to work the next day there and discover the factory was cleaned out overnight. They do not get their final pay. If this was happening in the USA the country would be up in arms. But we are not having this happen here as it does in China.
