Trump still being blamed for Covid deaths

The Grand Old Establishment Republican Party is wimpy and afraid to take on the MSM. In many ways they are as corrupt as the Democratic Party. There are a lot of republican Swamp critters in the Swamp.

Trump came along and was willing to take on the media and the Democratic Party and fight to actually improve things in our nation. Considering the amount of opposition he ran into he did an excellent job. Of course along comes Joe Biden (the supposed nice guy) who sets out to undo everything Trump did and has largely succeeded.

Are you fucking retarded?

Let's look at the Trump Scorecard.

770,000 dead from Covid.
65 million jobs lost
Riots in the streets

There is not one person who can honestly tell you his life was better in 2020 than it was in 2016.

Even though you claim not be a Trumptard, you would be welcomed in their cult, without a sweat.

What a moron, fuckstick.

My comment contained no links you mentally retarded, imbecile.

A link contains a .com, a . gov, a . net, a. org, not some random shit you decide to click.

www.politico.com › news › 2020/03/13

Hey, shitstain, below is what I copied from your post:

"Coronavirus tests are alarmingly hard to come by, which the top infectious disease expert at the National Institutes of Health called “a failing” on Thursday."

Click on the words "alarmingly hard to come by". That's what you typed.

That takes you to another website. Why? Because it's a fucking link, dipshit, and it's a link to a website which is a ".net" site.

It's almost impossible to believe that you can be this fucking stupid and still figure out how to post nonsense that you think supports your point...

Insulting me with that argument is laughable and only shows your own biases and stupidity.

Trump did not invent COVID-19 and spread it around the world. The Chinese released that virus accidentally or on purpose. The pandemic caused the loss of jobs.

The pandemic was a black swan event.

The riots in the streets were fostered by democrats to make Trump look bad.

Trump pushed the development of vaccines to a warp speed pace. If Hillary had been President chances are we would still be waiting for a vaccine.

At the rate Joe Biden is going there will not be one person in this nation that will say his life in 2024 is far better than it was when Trump was in charge before the pandemic.

Like a stated before, moron.

Just when you think a the GQP can't get any dumber, they surprise you.

It was copied and pasted, dumbass, not typed.
If I typed it, those words wouldn't appear in blue, retard.

Everyone is going to eliminate the words in blue when they copy and paste just to satisfy you?

Good point, comparing you to a retard is an insult to retards.

Trump did not invent COVID-19 and spread it around the world. The Chinese released that virus accidentally or on purpose. The pandemic caused the loss of jobs.

Except that other countries did a pretty good job of containing it because they didn't have a nitwit like Trump in charge.

The pandemic was a black swan event.

Which- again- other countries handled better. Would you rather be the US with 770,000 deaths or Japan with 18,000 deaths. What did the Japanese do right that we did wrong? Should also point out that Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide STILL resigned his post because the Japanese people thought 18K was too many losses. Ah, if only Trump had that level of integrity.

The riots in the streets were fostered by democrats to make Trump look bad.

No, the riots in the streets happened because a racist president sided with the thug cops.

Trump pushed the development of vaccines to a warp speed pace. If Hillary had been President chances are we would still be waiting for a vaccine.

Again, works on the assumption the US was the only place working on this. The Mordena vaccine was developed in Germany.

Well, I've always suspected that you're incapable of intelligent thought on your own. The fact that you have to cut and paste and plagiarize
when you post certainly explains it.

Look, spin it any way you want, dumbfuck. When you elect cut and paste, you do so with the understanding that you're posting everything contained in your highlighted text, inluding links. Whether you typed the words out or not is immaterial. You posted the links...

Examples where Trump sided with “thug” cops. I can give you plenty where you lefties side with real thug criminals.

Again, works on the assumption the US was the only place working on this. The Mordena vaccine was developed in Germany.

That is like saying Ford’s are made in Mexico and giving them credit for building the cars.

If not for US companies making MONEY, vaccines would still be unavailable or completely unreliable. Socialized medicine doesn’t produce nearly the amount of life-saving drugs because they have no incentive to do so. They can’t make money on them and less productive people on the earth is better for the climate anyway, which we all know they worship as their God.

Okay, we can start here...

Police leaders across the country moved quickly to distance themselves from — or to outright condemn — President Trump’s statements about “roughing up” people who’ve been arrested.
The swift public denunciations came as departments are under intense pressure to stamp out brutality and excessive force that can erode the relationship between officers and the people they police — and cost police chiefs their jobs.

Some police leaders worried that three sentences uttered by the president during a Long Island, N.Y., speech could upend nearly three decades of fence-mending since the 1991 Los Angeles Police Department beating of Rodney King ushered in an era of distrust of police.

As nationwide protests against police brutality continue, President Donald Trump is doing what he always does: making things worse. Rather than listen to protestors and take steps to address the systemic issues that led to the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police, Trump has continually escalated the problem with his inflammatory rhetoric, including by telling governors to “dominate” protestors, threatening to send in the military, and using decades-old racist dog whistles—as well as by using actual violence against peaceful protestors outside the White House.

None of this should be surprising. For his entire political career, Trump has advocated police brutality and escalations of violence against perceived political opponents, and he has stood against peaceful protests.

Uh, sorry, guy, all medicine is "Socialized"... whether it is paid for by the government or by a private carrier.

Either you are paying money in but staying healthy, or you are sick and taking more money out than you are paying in that year.

The only question is, should we really be paying Ed Hanaway or other insurance company crooks nine-figure salaries to administer these funds.

On the topic of the vaccines, these were a purely socialist endevour. They wouldn't have bothered if government weren't willing to pay big bucks for these vaccines.

So Trump made a comment about how silly it really is to take such caution as to protect a criminal from bumping his head while getting in the police car and that is backing police thugs?

You are correct, they wouldn’t have bothered if the government would not have been willing to pay big bucks for the vaccines. The same goes for every medicine developed. If the general population or the governement won’t pay, they won’t develop the drugs. In countries with nationalized healthcare, people are at the mercy of what their government deems necessary for care, not what the free market will bear. Democrats tend to put their trust in government. It is their God of sorts.

Um, yeah, of course, Trump said a lot more than that, Cleetus, but I doubt you dun-der got past the first paragraph.

People in other countries are also healthier, live longer and less of their children die in childhood, so there's that.

What you have in a capitalist system is the Pharma Bro running up the cost of medicines because he can.

The United States attracts visitors from all over the world which helped initially to start the spread. Trump put travel restrictions in place which helped to slow the spread.

Keep in mind Dr Fauci was not all the worried about the virus early on.

***snip***

On Jan. 21 - the day the first COVID-19 case in the U.S. was confirmed - Fauci appeared on conservative Newsmax TV. "Bottom line, we don’t have to worry about this one, right?" asked Greg Kelly, the host.

Fauci said, "Obviously, you need to take it seriously and do the kind of things the (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the Department of Homeland Security is doing. But this is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about."

***snip***

On Jan. 26, Fauci gave an interview to John Catsimatidis, a syndicated radio host in New York. "What can you tell the American people about what’s been going on?" Catsimatidis asked. "Should they be scared?"

“I don’t think so," Fauci said. "The American people should not be worried or frightened by this. It’s a very, very low risk to the United States, but it’s something we, as public health officials, need to take very seriously."

Fauci reiterated that COVID-19 "isn’t something the American people need to worry about or be frightened about" because, at the time, it was centered in China and the U.S. could screen travelers from that nation.

But Fauci also twice described the virus as "an evolving situation," and said, "Every day, we have to look at it very carefully."

You continue to ignore the fact that Trump’s Warp Speed approach to speeding the development of the vaccines was praised by Fauci’s boss. If Hillary had been President we would likely still be waiting for the vaccines.

Trump mentioned Hydroxychloroqine could work to reduce deaths and of course liberal asses ridiculed that statement.

So the liberals were able to stop the use of HCQ in our nation but other nations permitted it. How did it work there.

So it looks like Trump was right and the Trump haters in this nation have the blood of tens of thousands on their hands.

But I could go and on finding proof that Trump did a damn good job fighting COVID-19 and presenting it but you would continue to allow your hate to corrupt your ability to reason.

Time for me to stop wasting my time replying to small minded Trump hating liberals and watch some NFL football.

I assume you are vaccinated against the coronavirus. If so we can thank Trump for speeding up the process. Of course you won’t go that far.

One year ago tomorrow, President Trump launched Operation Warp Speed (OWS), a bold scientific initiative that resulted in one of the greatest medical achievements of the modern age. It ranks alongside President Kennedy's Moon Shot in its audacity and is virtually unrivalled in its results. Thanks to OWS, our nation developed three safe, effective and life-saving vaccines at record speed. This incredible feat of science and medicine should be celebrated and our nation should seek to codify it and replicate its success in additional fields of pandemic response.

The United States attracts visitors from all over the world which helped initially to start the spread. Trump put travel restrictions in place which helped to slow the spread.

Except it didn't slow the spread, did it? The travel restriction he should have put in is "Everyone shelter in place" (which IS what everyone did by April) and not, "We'll ban Chinese but let Americans come home whether they are sick or not" which is exactly what Trump did.

Combine that with super-spreader events, calling it a hoax, saying it would "magically disappear" by Easter or Summer, etc. Trump failed in a key metric of leadership on this issue. Period. Full stop. That he did a couple of things right (or didn't let his ego stop others from doing their jobs, this time) doesn't buy him much.

He did stuff like denouncing mask usage, which all his followers made into a social issue, which didn't help contain the disease. he undermined Dr. Fauci at every turn, he promoted people like Scott Atlas and Dr. Demon Sperm as "alternative" experts, he promoted bullshit "treatments" like Ivermectin and Hydrochloroquinine

Simply put, he did stuff that responsible leaders wouldn't have done.

But I could go and on finding proof that Trump did a damn good job fighting COVID-19 and presenting it but you would continue to allow your hate to corrupt your ability to reason.

You could go on, but the fact remains..

The US had the most deaths from Covid and the most cases, because unlike other countries that had national responses, Trump's response was piecemeal, contradictory and often counterproductive.

And the problem is and remains with Trump's primary character flaw. He's a narcissist. Narcissists only see the world in terms of themselves. So when a reporter pointed out that 200,000 people had died up to that point, his response was "it is what it is!" completely lacking anything remotely resembling empathy... because he's incapable of it.

I assume you are vaccinated against the coronavirus. If so we can thank Trump for speeding up the process. Of course you won’t go that far.

Trump wasn't in a lab with the test tubes working this out... that's the thing. I am very grateful for the Scientists at Morderna for developing the shot I got. Trump had little to do with it.

Many other countries employed HCQ which reduced the number of people who died.

No matter how hard you try I have presented articles from reputable sources that credit Trump for the rapid development of the vaccines.

I live in Florida. We didn’t play that shelter in place game and while we did have a spike in the second wave of the coronavirus, we how have one of the lowest rates in the nation.

And of course you totally ignore Governors like Governor Coumo who sent patients with COVID-19 back to nursing homes and killed off thousands and thousands of innocent people.

***snip***

In August, President Biden criticized DeSantis, although not by name, saying: “Some state officials are passing laws that forbid people from doing the right thing. I say to the governors, please help. If you’re not going to help, get out of the way of the people that are trying to do the right thing.”

But what DeSantis understood is that there is no absolute “right thing” where COVID-19 is concerned, that we are living in an endemic (no longer a pandemic thanks to vaccines) and that there is very little political action that can be implemented to stop it. At the time of Florida’s spike, the state had an above-average vaccination rate when compared with the rest of the country. They weren’t doing anything differently than places with lower case rates, they were simply at the peak of their seasonal spike.

Florida is doing better in per-capita cases and deaths from COVID than states that put in universal mask mandates and lockdowns. But you won’t hear that from the media. Now that DeSantis’ strategy has worked, they have quietly moved on without acknowledging their predictions of doom were wrong.

It’s a lesson that we need to quickly learn. Encouraging vaccination is important, but ultimately COVID will be something we need to handle with less hysteria going forward, and DeSantis has been a model for that.

Not good enough. The loosed this virus on the world. They are to blame for every single death and every ruined economy. You can blame Trump all you want but once that virus his our shores people were going to die.

Carry on hard head.

You have to remember. The joeb types want you locked down and in full submission to the govt that they bow down to. They can't have you out there being free.

Right, because they aren't reputable, and again, any other president would have gotten them out just as fast, and probably wouldn't have botched initial distribution like Trump did.

And Florida now leads the country in Covid Cases. If Florida were a third world country, we'd slap it with a travel ban.

As he should. He was President in 2020 was he not? He did ignore the pandemic for the first two months of 2020 while it gained a foothold here and spread.
It began on his watch, was ignored on his watch, and bungled on his watch. Biden's just the janitor called in to clean up the mess (typical for a Democrat to have
to do after a Republican administration). Now you got the anti-vaxx crowd (comprised mainly of Trump supporters) making trouble. Not sure what Biden's supposed
to do about them. Yes, people are still dying. Most are unvaccinated. Can't crow about the dead under Biden and constantly crow against vaccines. ^Shrug^.

It is neither Trump’s fault nor Biden’s fault. Covid is the result of China’s negligence, at a minimum. China and WHO’s delayed and inconsistent flow of information surrounding COVID was at a minimum, negligent.

By March 2020, we knew what we needed to know, and Trump still failed to take action. He still called it a hoax, he still refused to do national lockdowns.

You are free to blame Trump and continually absolve China and the WHO. Trump calling it a hoax and minimizing lockdowns mitigated domestic panic and helped keep economic bleeding to a minimum compared to what Democrats would have done.
