It only affects what Medicare and (in some instances) Medicaid pays for drugs, the Federal Government has no Constitutional Authority to dictate drug prices in the private market.

It's what the Democrats have been demanding for years, ya know "negotiating drug prices for Medicare", remember that?

If a pill sells for 2 dollars in Europe and we have to pay 200 dollars for the same pill it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that is wrong... why it has been allowed all these years is a failure of our elected officials who are suppose to serve us....
So big pharma has a choice... either raise the cost everywhere else or lower ours...
Gee I remember the days when democrats fought this kind of abuse... at least verbally... but now they seem to be just fine with big pharma and big health insurance screwing the American people....
