I'm just thinking that's kind of reckless before the USSC decides if the tariffs are legal.
If the court says the president exceeded his limited authority to impose taxes, the government would have to refund those taxes collected.
Having already spent it on $2,000 checks doesn't relieve them of refunding what they collected,
It's like Trump is trying to make the tariffs so important to the economy, if they were ruled to be illegal, the entire economy would collapse.
