Neither Greenland nor Antarctica is melting, and at no point has either been melting during CO2 FRAUD. That's 97% of Earth ice growing. The example you want is the Sahel ... if you don't mind black people ... here, we did deforest and it ruined the climate, terrible droughts and famines I'm sure you remember ... however, now all the reforestation work is paying off and the rains are returning ... which demonstrates cause-and-effect, the scientific gold standard of evidence ...

The real issue with the deforestation of trees to make room for people isn't the loss of trees or the oxygen they supply as much as it is over the loss of unknown species of fauna yet to even be discovered along with incalculable types of plants vital to new drugs and medicines lost never to be utilized. One of them could be a vital cure for a major disease.

The highest day in our city in 1977 was 107, last year it was 105. The coldest day in 1977 was 10, the coldest day in 2025 was 17. The average temperature in 1977 was 65.9, in 2025 it was 56. I pointed those all out to her, and she could not believe it. But I also pointed out that back then, we did not live in houses with air conditioning. And there was much less to do inside, so we spent most of our time outside.

I know in those days when I lived in Boise I thought nothing of riding my bike 5 miles each way to catch a movie in 100+ temperatures. The hottest day there in 1977 was 111, but last year it was only 104.

This is just a part of people trying to look back in their memories, and not actually checking the facts.

Yep, I grew up in CA near SF. The very last thing we wanted to do was stay inside the house. We lived in a suburban neighborhood on the edge of undeveloped land. Our street had sidewalks that went up a hill and just stopped. From there it was our 'Adventure Land' with trees, seasonal creeks, etc. We rode our bikes about the same distance (5 miles) to our town. We made coasters to fly down the hills, had a killer rope swing too.
