Trump Reportedly Is Set To Accept A Jet From Qatar’s Ruling Family For Possible Use As Air Force One

Yes, but Trump does not intend to donate it to a library. He intends to donate it to the Trump Library Foundation.

Which means Trump. His Foundation will be no more legitimate than the last one, a slush fund.
Not according to the law.

1. The Emoluments clause in the constitution prohibits such gifts, unless approved by congress.

2. The jumbo jet is not secure and it would take tearing it down to its shell to make it so, it does not have our communication systems or safe rooms and systems, there is not a duplicate that we can use as a decoy.....it would cost hundreds of millions to get it to our standards for a president's safety, and safety of the USA.... Let alone the years to retrofit....it won't be done until trumps last year or two in office, and not worth our tax dollars ...it's a wasted abuse to do it, then send it to Trump's presidential library....come on....STOP this utter unconstitutional nonsense.

Trump proves every day that his flock, are in a cult, incapable of sound rational decisions, and need to seek help, help greatly needed! Imo.
There is no emoluments clause since they did not give it to Trump. As far as tearing the plane apart, that is nonsense. It is weak sauce by the extreme left.

Yep. Some blogger masquerading as a reporter for some hack news outlet like WaPo or the NY Times does a hit piece and these clowns lap it up and run and tell their tribal members with a war chant and smoke rings That the leader of the other tribe did something bad and everyone should join them in their daily outrage.
As I often point out, Democrat Supporters have been reduced to goldfish in the pond who gobble up whatever their Media Masters toss out. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Presidential libraries are never all that great.
Can't get a copy of Tom Sawyer or a good sci-fi book in any of them.

Biden couldn't get his even started.
Clinton's is a Joke after how many millions got spent on it.

Gonna be interesting to see how Trump's turns out. Will there be a casino in it?

Trump has wanted this plane since he first saw it in February 2025 and his team, Hegseth, has been "negotiating" the gift since then.

Trump has a deep problem with coveting they neighbor's goods! And gold! He is mesmerized by gold! Surrounded by it, seems to be his happy place! 😁

Key Background

Trump had previously toured the plane back in February, and at the time The New York Times reported he was considering it to be a new Air Force One. His spokesperson, Steven Cheung, told CNN when Trump was looking at the plane he was touring it “to checkout the new hardware/technology”

Oh
BTW....
Airplanes are a constantly depreciating asset. Every hour of flight and landing goes towards an ever increasing maintenance schedule. Look at the used planes for sale. Notice the hours and number of landings each lists. Notice how they are all roughly similar?

(Selling before the big costs are coming due)

The Obama library?
From Wikipedia:

The Barack Obama Presidential Center is a planned museum, library, and education project in Chicago to commemorate the presidency of Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States.[2][3] The center will also include community and conference facilities and will house the nonprofit Obama Foundation. Construction on the 19.3-acre (7.8 ha) campus began in 2021, the tower topped out in mid-2024, and the center is expected to open in the first half of 2026.[4][5][6]

747-800 costs about $25,000/hr to operate.

They're made and assembled in the 43 day time frame.
Once all the parts and pieces are there to do so.
I'm not disputing the "assembly" time, only pointing out there are some essential steps involved in getting to that process.
(I used to make parts for Boeing airplanes, I might have some clue )
