I haven had the heart to read all the leftist whining in this thread about Trump....
Public gifts to America because of who our president is are a win no matter what....
However, retrofitting this aircraft to become AF1? Or even AF2 is a VERY expensive proposition. The plane has to be literally cut apart and put back together to fit in the communications equipment and security equipment and galley.
That doesn't mean though it cannot be used for other purposes like flying around dignitaries and Consulate personnel. (Government uses a lot of planes and not all are for military purposes)
Trump (first term) just had 2 new aircraft fitted out and they were completed just before Biden took office for AF1 in 2020. (He canceled Obama's plane order and got two for a third of the price Obama was having the taxpayers pay)
There is a whole television program dedicated to the subject. It's not exactly secret information. A LOT of the stuff that goes inside the plane is.

Okay, then sell the "new" 747 gift from Qatar, use the money to pay for the two new 747s to be delivered in 2027, and donate one of the 40-year old 747s to the Trump library, technically not Trump's.

Sell the new 747 gift from Qatar.
Use the $300m or so to offset the costs for the two new 747s due in 2027.

Every presidential library - including Trump's - is owned by some sort of foundation or independent charitable organization.
Trump does not / will not own it, and thus, will not own the aircraft.

You don't even seem to be aware that the convict has already stated the plane will go to HIS presidential library once he is out of office, meaning HE will still own it.
Question; how have you missed that part?
Is it possible that your blind, unquestioning devotion to him gets in the way of you using reason and common sense?
