Looks like the Dems are shooting themselves in the feet with their impeachment crusade..

He doesn’t need much defense when the Republicans in the Senate have decided that they just want a show trial.

A show trial would have a lot of witnesses, like Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Ciaramella, Schiff, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, the Ohrs, Lynch, Barr, Durham, and the other deep state folks that got caught in the coup plots against Trump.
OTOH, the dems could call Bolton, Mulvaney, Pompeo and anyone else who would just claim executive privilege. That's the "show trial" view.

The "short trial" view just throws out all the 2nd hand evidence, and Article-2, and just dismisses them for lack of evidence and lack of constitutionality. Article-2 is thrown out because the USSC just took the Trump vs. House subpoena for his tax records, so Trump does in-fact have the right to appeal to the courts and that is NOT "obstruction of the House". That doesn’t make any sense. None of those people you listed have anything to do with the actual allegations or impeachment against Trump. They’re just a list of people that Trump supporters want to get revenge on.

On the other hand, Mulvaney, Bolton, Giuliani and Pompeo are all relevant witnesses. If they want to claim executive privilege, then it’ll be an interesting test case to see if that claim stands up since its never been used before in this context.

1. FBI Operation Crossfire Hurricane, started off fine, but quickly went off the rails with falsifying evidence and illegal FISA warrants
2. The CIA using foreign intel assets to setup Popadope and the Trump campaign by falsely claiming that the Trump campaign was colluding with Russia
3. The Mueller Investigation into "Russian meddling in 2016" quickly became a hunt for Trump's collusion with Russia (this was Strzok's "insurance policy" in case he won
4. Brennan and Clapper used the intel assets of the US to illegally spy on Trump, including illegally using the NSA database
5. The DOJ tried to setup removing Trump via the 25th Amendment.
6. The reasons for the "impeachment" stem from Brennan's plant "whistleblower", who worked with Schiff to write the "complaint" which should technically have been deemed "not credible" by the ICIG since it was based on 2nd hand evidence.
7. There may be more, but those are the ones that come to mind. Point being that the dems and the "deep state" have continuously attacked Trump.

One thing about the American's, and that is that they ain't dumb about all that's went down since 2016 and before. Hopes for them to be dumb about it all ain't happening. They are more politically in tune now than ever before in this country.

The primary reason the media has been trashing Trump since the day he was elected was for one purpose.....to get everyone to agree that these unethical and illegal impeachment tactics would be acceptable to the American people. They turned Trump into a monster that everyone could hate....then they made up a reason to impeach him.

Now we discover that Pelosi is planning more impeachments......literally giving away the purpose for the impeachment in the first place. Somebody has to stop this massive waste of time and money and start charging these people with criminal conspiracy under RICO predicates.

1-5 have nothing to do with the current Ukraine scandal. You don’t even make an attempt to connect the two.

6 is a fun little conspiracy and a misunderstanding of facts. Brennan hasn’t been in government for years but somehow orchestrated this whole thing? That defies rationality. The whistleblower report was deemed credible because it was accurate. There’s nothing about 2nd hand information that would change that. There was a silly conspiracy about this being a rule change by the ICIG but was debunked by the ICIG himself.
