Trump purging the military...12 - 20 Generals removed.

Arbitrary? LOL pulled names out of a hat? You're a hoot RW, a hoot.
It is not being done out of any analysis of function or mission which makes is arbitrary

Looks like Hegseth is purging the upper class of the military to put yes men in who will follow his orders. However maybe he is also firing and removing bloat. Difficult to say at this point in time.
How do you get rid of bloat without identifying it first?

Kewl. We didn't know you were part of the executive team making the decisions. What kind of pastries do they serve at the Pentagon?

You know nothing, that's why you blindly follow Trump.
I know what you wrote. You said that in your world the country is spiraling downward, out of control. That's a sad world to live in and I'm glad it is ending.

A YT channel calimed Trump has recently removed 12 top Generals in the military. I asked AI. It seems the number may be even higher.

Based on reports from early April 2026, it is true that the Trump administration has removed multiple senior military officials, including the Army Chief of Staff and other generals, as part of an ongoing restructuring of the Department of Defense. [1, 2, 3]
  • Recent Firings (April 2026): Reports indicate that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, under the Trump administration, fired Army Chief of Staff General Randy George on April 2, 2026, forcing him into early retirement. Along with him, other senior officials were removed, including Gen. David Hodne and Maj. Gen. William Green Jr..
  • Scale of the "Purge": Some reports and social media commentary suggest that over 20 top generals and admirals have been removed or fired by Sec. Hegseth since the start of the administration's actions in early 2025.
  • Previous Removals: In February 2025, President Trump fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General CQ Brown, and the Navy’s top admiral, Lisa Franchetti.
  • Context: The removals are described as an attempt to reorganize Pentagon leadership to align with the President’s policies and to address concerns over "woke" ideology within the military.
  • Additional Removals: The administration has also been active in replacing other officials, including the Attorney General in April 2026. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]
While the figure "12 generals" has been discussed, some sources suggest the scope of the removals (including admirals and top leaders) has exceeded this number. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

It looks like it will be an easy thing for any pres to replace the top military leaders with his own yes men if he wanted to use it as his personal military force.
Wasn't a big deal when Bathhouse Barry was purging war fighter Generals, and replacing them with beta DEI phaggots.

Say what you will about the idiotic war being currently prosecuted, there still needed to be big time readjustments of top brass at the Pentagon.

Prove it.

Gen. Stanley McChrystal (2010) – He was dismissed as commander in Afghanistan after a Rolling Stone article quoted him and his staff making disparaging remarks about Obama administration officials. This was a high-profile case of a general being fired for public insubordination and damaging trust

Not really. Each termination is of a person who put political flak ahead of the mission.

Yet Hegseth has been unable to show that
He has shown it repeatedly, and there are historical video records of their statements. You have only to look for them.

Additonally, the SecWar need to not justify the firing of miltary personnel to anyone other than the President.

US fought the entirety of WW2 with 13 four-star Generals.

There's both General officer bloat to go with medal bloat...Look at the ribbons on the dress uniforms of any long serving service member....Most of them are glorified participation trophies.

He does not have to justify anything but can still be criticized for his decisions

There were 9 General Officers of 5 Star rank alone in WW2
