There were Americans on the Board of Directors. There were Americans embedded with the WHO in China (Trump praised that involvement), and we knew most of what the WHO knew in real time. This is just a scapegoating exercise from the finger-pointing Trump, because he used his thumb as a sit-n-spin for 7 weeks.

Yes, it will weaken the US overall and make us less relevant. Trump is already doing that with his G-7 game playing. No one wants to follow a man who can't be trusted.

Hypothese: He's a coward. He doesn't like to see reality. This fits not with his narcissism. So he fights against information and relations. If he would be a virus on his own, then he would slowly destroy all perceptions and would try to beat all around against everyone. In the German language the word "Tollwut" - in English: raving madness, rabies - would describe his behavior. Everyone is an enemy - South-America, Europe, Russia, China ... all international concepts are bad: nuclear treaty with the Iran, Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership ... and so on. All international institutions are bad - specially the WHO now, because they fought for all mankind in a better way than he did.

In my view to the world this man is only a disaster. A splitter in times the world needs unifiers. He brings the USA into an extremely dangerous isolated situation.
