I'm more in line with Trump's stance for other nations to step up and not have them depend so much on us for their national defense. With that in mind I had hope of the military doing at least a small part in the reduction of federal spending.

A tariff is a tax imposed on foreign-made goods, paid by the importing business to its home country's government.

If you order something directly from China there will be a tax on it on entry... And that will go into Government revenue....
