The expression on that guy's face at the exact moment Trump wonders why they couldn't just settle the issue of slavery without a civil war

Trump is absolutely right, otherwise if the media grumblings or the groups and back channels across America have been spewing such rhetoric concerning the subject matter.

Trump is a man that listens to all the bull shite from everywhere when it is being spoken about (that's what real leadership does), and then he says what he thinks on the subject's being talked about.

Problem ???

the details of this are Trump thinks that Lincoln should have let the south keep a little bit of slavery.

Trump's expert negotiating skills on display here. As he does with seemingly everything, his way of "winning" is to just give up what the other wants.

And he's said this before, and is another great example of how historically illiterate he is. Deals were cut with the Southern states. The North repeatedly gave up concession to appease the South. The problem is that when you have an issue that is all-or-nothing, concessions aren't enough. You either have to refuse everything or give up everything.

The guy is too stupid to realize that when you give into an aggressor's demands, all they learn is that they can keep demanding more.

They could have settled it without the war, and that is also what someone like Lawrence would agree with also. Looking back is always 20/20, and we all can see alternatives that if strong mind's would have prevailed back in those day's, then the war could have ultimately been averted.

Oh. The irony.
Inflation has been right around 3% for almost two years.
There you are, making shit up again:

One tenth or two up or down means little
From the time of your post to the end of the Biden administration, inflation jumped from 2.4% to 3.0% - a 25% rise.
I don't recall you bitching about Biden's policies driving inflation back up.

Dollars to doughnuts, you will be all over Trump if, 4 months form now, inflation is 3.5%

Again idiot… inflation going up or down by a couple tenths means little.

It doesn’t indicate anything unless it’s a long term unbroken trend and no one feels the pinch of inflation going from 2.8 to 3%

So suck it

Wait. But I thought you and Trump were saying that 3% Inflation is n was very bad and that Trump was going to LOWER it.

Now you’re saying it’s going to go UP ?

We’ve finally gotten inflation under control at 2.3%
Current Inflation Rate:
The annual inflation rate for the United States was 2.8% for the 12 months ending February, compared to the previous rate increase of 3%, according to U.S. Labor Department data published on March 12, 2025.

well he told the voters he was going to lower inflation, remember?
just like he was going to end the war in 24 hours.

Too many portfolios invested in the war to end it anytime soon.

Remember when He wanted to stop war during 45, the Generals all had shit fits.

The numbers are false, because if you truly go out into society to try and get any labor done or to by part's and hardware for anything, and try to buy lumber, or many other things (including eggs, although coming down finally), then there is absolutely no way that you can defend the high price's that Americans are dealing with in so many areas of the economy now.

We are dealing with high price's in society that weren't being found anywhere close or in comparison to what we had experienced in this country decades ago. We had low prices that helped millions of hardworking Americans to aquire the American dream, and this be it all up and down the spectrum.

Not so much these day's, and that's why we've seen dependency on government increase by 85% for hundreds of thousands of people in this country.

Then you throw in all the brainwashing and social engineering, and you have the chaos being seen in America today.
