This is what you get for giving them $350 billion.

Putin thinks Zelensky is unpopular, the war is unpopular and Zelensky has lost the confidence of the in people to lead.
If that's true... if the citizens are have lost confidence in Zelensky... Whether is Putin's argument or not... That's something that should be known going in.
Then no reason not to hold elections and have a duly elected president at the negotiating table.Ukrainians are probably losing faith that Zelensky can win the war, but given the option of Zelensky or some random joe, that the people have no clue about when literally everything is on the line, who would Ukrainians choose?
Let me get this straight.
You're trying desperately to make political hay out of the fact that there was a total of 500 actually essential workers out of a purge of over 100,000 probationary employees.
That's literally a .5% error.
The mistake was discovered and measures have been taken to rehire these employees.
What damage has been done?
Worst case scenario...500 new probationary employees need to be hired to fill these vacancies that will likely have amazing job security...and 999,500+ position in our bloated bureaucracy have been eliminated.
So... bottom line...nice try...but this huge is a net win for taxpayers.
Then no reason not to hold elections and have a duly elected president at the negotiating table.
Funny how liberals become anti-democracy as soon as it becomes inconvenient.

3 days ago — Trump administration officials fired National Nuclear Security Administration workers. Then they realized that probably wasn't a smart idea.
As such, the department wanted to bring these ousted officials back, but it didn’t know how best to alert the fired workers that their services — which include designing, building and overseeing the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile — are still needed.
WTF?
Good fuckin' grief, man. You think there's a high demand for nuclear warhead assemblers? One nuclear plant saw a 30% cut of workers who assemble nuclear warheads which has some of the highest level security clearances in that sector. Which is why they made a mad dash to rehire them. The problem is they still can't find them all. If it was as easy as you say, then why not just grab a few random 350-500 employees to do that job? Elon's advocates would have you believe that he's tirelessly investigating every agency and worker he's cutting, but this clearly shows he's doing none of that. Now imagine, Elon firing tens of thousands of employees from various agencies that also has no clue about. Now there have been reports of scientists working on the bird flu who have been fired.
We'd have an election. If the roles were somehow reversed and America was being actively invaded and in a fight for their lives and the aggressor nation said, America needs to have an election. Would you be like, hey, they're right, democracy you know! GTFO. You'd tell them to go **** themselves. You literally couldn't have come up with a sillier reply and hill to die on.
Good fuckin' grief, man. You think there's a high demand for nuclear warhead assemblers?
Quit trying to make a mountain out of a molehill. Nobody cares about this including you.
If Biden did this you'd be saying the same to me.
So give it up. It's not working.
We'd have an election.
Watch, I'll prove it.
If we are in a war in 2028, would you be cool if Trump extended his presidency indefinitely?

Tell it to the soldiers who were killed and injured during Biden's catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal. Then why did the Trump administration make such an effort to rehire them 24 hours later? Why not just look for them on craigslist?
Biden wouldn't do something so idiotic, even with dementia. If he did I'd be all over the story. Stop projecting your own cult loyalty to a dumb politician, and a corrupt one at that.
Your deflection is duly noted. You're a total bullshitter. lol. If Trump were president in 2028 and we were invaded it's over anyway. There's no use thinking about elections. Our new president will be whoever invaded us![]()

Your deflection is duly noted.
I'll help you out...you and the Democrats would go apeshit and demand elections immediately.
So hit the road with that weak shit.
Democracy doesn't mean shit to you UNLESS you can use it as a bludgeon to attempt to Garner more votes.
How'd that work out for ya?![]()
Tell it to the soldiers who were killed and injured during Biden's catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal.
Give me firing a few people, admitting it was a mistake, and hiring them right back anyday.

Nov 15, 2024 — We need super high-IQ small-government revolutionaries willing to work 80+ hours per week on unglamorous cost-cutting.
"Indeed, this will be tedious work, make lots of enemies & compensation is zero," he wrote in a post on X.
Who made the arbitrary decision to deal with the taliban and withdraw by a certain date, which was impossible to meet? Who created the problem in the first place? Even when Biden was forced to push the date there still wasn't time to safely pull everyone out and or remove equipment. You're blaming Biden for an idiotic agreement thrust upon him by another imbecile.
Nope. "Widespread chaos" is this "Constitutional Crisis". It's just a talking point. This is a hiccup. A molehill that Democrats pounce on to criticize for the sake of criticism. Nothing more. Again, if this was Biden you would suddenly realize this is no big deal. What about the bird flu scientists who were also fired and now have to be rehired back? Do not see how this is causing widespread chaos and panic throughout our government., or maybe that's what you want.
Situational ethics strikes again! In no other situation would I be for an election simply because the aggressor nation called for it but if Trump and only Trump were president and the US were invaded, I would, only because Trump is the kind of coward who would cede anything over just so he can remain in some sort of leadership role under the new regime and save his own ass. This is the weak bully he has shown all of us over many years now. It's why he wouldn't even dare to ask Russia for a single concession in Ukraine peace talks. It's why he's backed down from his threats of tariffs to Canada, Mexico and Columbia when they threatened him back. And it's why Zelensky is a million times the man and president Trump is.
I'll tell you who democracy doesn't mean shit to, people like yourself who value tribalism and weak men who talk tough at a podium but inwardly are cowards and corrupt as hell. You'd sit idly by while democracy crumbles as long as your president is a republican still yapping your favorite talking points.
Anyone working 80 hours a week is likely happy as a clam. Just think of the overtime. You know that almost every over-the-road truck driver works 80 hours every week... and wants more.Elon is a money grubbing POS. Why not simply hire more people instead of expecting employees to work 80 hours a week? Richest man in the world and he still wants to squeeze people at the bottom.
