Trump on elections in Ukraine...

What choices did Biden have? He could have renegged on the deal, reingaged the Taliban and brought in many more forces, and then what? Continue fighting for another 20 years? Why would the Taliban ever negotiate with the US in good faith after that?? That's just basic common sense right? It was either continue the withdrawal, which Trump agreed to, or continue the Afghan war and Biden chose the former. Remember, it was Trump and Trump alone who made the concession to haul ass out of Afghanistan in 4-5 months when it should probably have taken 2 years, and even then he got virtually no concessions in return from the Taliban. Why is it we have billions of equipment left behind? It's because of one orange idiot. He had to have known that would happen and if he didn't, he's a moron either way. Blaming Biden for Trump's idiocy is why it is you who is the partisan hack. I'd be ready to blame Biden at the drop of a hat if this was all his fault, but hes not the one that made that insanely stupid deal.
Biden did alter the conditions based deal Trump made in Afghanistan. That fiasco is all on Biden.

I called you out for naming Zelensky a dictator while pushing Putin's talking points and this is the best you can do. Thank you for conceding the argument.
Zelenskyy declared martial law and suspended elections. What would you call that?

Is declaring martial law unusual when your country under an invasion? Elections are suspended according to the Ukrainian constitution. Does that automatically make him a dictator? Was that his motivation for calling for martial law in 2022? I can see Trump doing this for that very reason but Zelensky? What evidence do you have to suggest this, outside of Russian talking points?

There was no requirement to declare martial law. There was also no requirement to keep Ukraine under martial law.

I don’t follow Russian talking points

Like what? In the end, a proper military withdrawal cannot be achieved in just a few months. That is ultimately what led to the fiasco. It's not incumbent on Biden to fix someone else's disaster.

That's a lot of words to say Biden decided.

If Biden knew the withdrawal was a mistake...it was his responsibility to bite the bullet and make the tough decision.

That's the obligation that comes with sitting it the big chair.

What a strange argument. There are many things in life that are not "required" but would they allow you to do things better and more efficiently? Would solve problems than it would create? Martial law serves a multitude of purposes from both a military and humanitarian standpoint. It makes absolute sense to impose it when you're under a military invasion. What on earth are you even talking about?

If you don't think you are, then you are doing it unwittingly. This is in essence what a useful idiot is. They carry the message without realizing it.

That's precisely what Biden did. He bit the bullet and made the tough decision. 🤷‍♀️

You can't blame Trump at all can you? Despite the fact that the entire fiasco was all his fault. LOL

Again they were INVADED BY MULTIPLE RUSSIAN DIVISIONS. Quit spewing Russian talking points.
I haven’t posted any Russian talking points. You just don’t know how to respond. You're stupid and have no ability to think on your own.

Musk isn't as smart as his Social Media pumped profile is making out to be.

His school grades were average but he is a gambler, not ever really made anything...

Notice how he can leave Tesla and SpaceX and no one seems to be screaming for him to come back?
BTW, Tesla Sales are getting hammered in Europe... EV sales are way up but Tesla are way down

Europeans are more socially conscious buyers, I think it comes from endless ads to tell us to buy local (in country)... It is funny really, UK had ad about buying british butter... It was half Irish butter to improve the quality.

Whenever anyone hears Elon speak, do you ever get the sense that he's a brilliant man? The man was born lucky. He earned the equivalent of 600 million in todays dollars by making a shitty online yellow pages search page back in the late 90s with his brother, that literally went nowhere but Compag was stupid enough to pay him the money for it. Imagine shooting up to the top 1% of 1% in your very first business venture.

This is a poll thread. The question is... If there is a ceasefire in place, should there be elections in Ukraine before a peace treaty is negotiated.

Zelensky's five year term ended a year ago.

Putin held elections last year.

Putin's elections are a farce.

Elections!

What kind of election is there when the dictator changes the eligibility of his own office so he can keep running (up till 2036).

What kind of election is there when Putin imprisons his most serious rival?

And he got 88% of the vote, or else!

Trying to pretend that Russia is a real democracy is as pathetic as Trump claiming Ukraine started the war.

Yeah, Democrats sure are, and clowns like Lindsey Graham as well. Graham is the new old John McCain, both of whom helped overthrow a democratically elected President of Ukraine, and ushered in the 2014 revolution.

Result? We ended up with a guy who plays the piano with his penis on stage and cancels elections.

'Muh, democracy'.
Russian propoganda pushed by Trump sheeple.

What is there to blame Trump for?

Trump negotiated a deal WITH CONDITIONS.

Those conditions were not lived up to by the Taliban...

Biden had plenty of outs that he could have applied.

Trump put them right into the treaty...you can't work with Alqauda and you MUST be in active negotiations with the Afghan Government.

Trump was out of office. How can he get any blame for not holding the Taliban to the conditions for US withdrawal???

Sorry, but this is 💯 % on Biden. No amount of spin is ever going to change that.

Right up until the final withdrawal and the abandonment of Bagram, the deal could have annulled.

BIDEN made the final decision. Trump had zero to do with it.

Quotes from your own article you linked

"Renegotiating, though, would have been difficult. Biden would have had little leverage. He, like Trump, wanted U.S. troops out of Afghanistan. Pulling out of the agreement might have forced him to send thousands more back in."

The Doha agreement was a
very weak agreement, and the U.S. should have gained more concessions from the Taliban,” said Lisa Curtis, an Afghanistan expert who served during the Trump administration as the National Security Council’s senior director for South and Central Asia.

She called it “wishful thinking” to believe that the Taliban might be interested in lasting peace. The resulting agreement, she said, was heavily weighted toward the Taliban, contributed to undermining Afghan President Ashraf Ghani — he fled the country Sunday and is now in the United Arab Emirates — and facilitated the release of 5,000 Taliban prisoners without a commensurate concession from the Taliban.

Though the agreement bound the Taliban to halt attacks on U.S. and coalition forces, it did not explicitly require them to expel al-Qaida or to stop attacks on the Afghan military.

Your own article literally betrayed everything you're trying to argue. Even Trump's own adviser vomited all over his shit deal with the Taliban. And you're still here refusing to place even an ounce of blame on Trump. If Trump were still president in 2021, would he really have smoothly withdrawn all the troops, equipment and our afghan allies from the warzone by May of that same year? That's the question you need to answer because logistically this would be impossible. Knowing how well Trump handles disasters how well do you think that would have gone, seeing as he was the one who created the problem to begin with? If this were the other way around, you wouldn't stop talking about what an idiot Biden was. Honestly, you sound like someone who makes a lot of mistakes and then passes those mistakes onto others to fix the problem, and when they're not 10/10 perfect in correcting it, it's 100% their fault top to bottom.

B.S.

Difficult is every decision the president makes. If Biden thought Trump fucked up... it was HIS responsibility to rectify it.

He didn't.

He DECIDED to continue the withdrawal.

1000% Biden's fault.

No way around it.

Every ounce of that other bullshit is completely extraneous.

Biden had a choice. There is no denying that now. He chose political expediency.

His decision. His consequences.

The Buck stops with Biden.

I'm literally quoting the very same article that you linked, but you're calling BS. lmao

Sooo....if Biden tore up the agreement and poured troops into Afghanistan you would have been perfectly ok with that right? Please, you're full of shit and you know it. I can guarantee you and every magat would 110% cry in unison about how Biden wants war and not peace by going against Trump's brilliant pull out plan.

Btw, it's quite amazing how the buck stops with everyone else, but not with Trump, isn't it? Trump blames Obama this and Obama that, blames Biden constantly every chance he gets. He's president now, why doesn't the buck stop with him? hmmm? lmao.
