Trump Now Gets a $1.8BN Taxpayer Slush Fund to Pay Others

Noise--your argument is all noise. The IRS is tasked with protecting taxpayer info. The info was obtained by someone who leaked it. The IRS failed in their duty or the info would not have been leaked, simple as that. It doesn't matter who ultimately leaked it--the IRS was negligent or the info would have never gotten into the leakers hands. BTW, Trump nor any named plaintiff can collect a dime of the fund.
And yet, not a single plaintiff harmed by Littlejohn has prevailed on this in trial. Most cases went after Booz Allen Hamilton under § 7431(a)(2).

The IRS is accused of failing to safeguard and protect the confidential tax returns of Donald Trump and his family, which were leaked to the media. This led to a lawsuit seeking $10 billion in damages, which was settled by establishing the anti-weaponization fund.
