Trump is up against some heavy competition now who have threatened the US if this goes any further. What is Trump supposed to do at this point?

The only competition I see is the ayatollahs and their Arab proxies and I don't see how they can force the US into a stalemate or a checkmate.

As I am able to understand it, the ayatollahs' strategy is to try to bring unbearable pressure on Trump to back off, by bombing US ME bases, Israel and the Gulf Arab states and by causing global oil shortages by blockading the Strait of Hormuz, and neither of these tactics have worked; in fact, blockading thee Strait of Hormuz has led to the US blockading all of the ayatollahs' ports which will certainly destroy what is left of their crumbling economy.

The ayatollahs have no plausible military option. They have no other cards to play, so I can't see how they can even achieve a stalemate, let alone a checkmate.

Centcom commander has recently provided the President with military options intended to force the ayatollahs to concede to US demands or to bring down their regime, which seems more likely to me, and it appears fighting will soon resume. I expect the combination of US military and economic pressure, increasing anti government protests across Iran and increasing rates of desertion in the IRGC and regular army will being the ayatollahs down.

Okay so I just read the news. I have mixed feelings about this because on one hand it seems like the Democrats have a reason to mock us with TACO, but on the other hand what can Trump do since now the US has been threatened? You know I'm starting to think that some of you people were right on here. I realize that Trump stopped Iran from getting Nukes, but he's gotten us into more trouble than getting us out of it now.
