These things happened prior to three days ago, genius. The defunding had nothing to do with the fuck ups already occurring in states trying a last minute implementation of universal mail-in systems.

Also, minor point, but logistically, removing mailboxes doesn't make it harder for the mail carriers to deliver on time. It makes less boxes for them to have to pick up. Granted, people waiting until the last minute to go turn in those ballots only to realize that their usual mail drop is gone get hit by this, but in those many cases where the voter isn't at fault for the tardiness of their ballot, the removal of box locations actually mitigates the difficulty for the delivery people by consolidating their pickups.

A county in NY just threw out 80k ballots in their primaries, which amounted to 25 percent of their vote, and that's not the only place that's had massive numbers of disqualified ballots. When have you heard of 25 percent of a precinct's votes needing to be struck down at in-person polling places?

Because fewer than 80k votes were the combined difference in the states that put Trump over on the EC in 2016. That's right, 1 blue district in blue ol' NY just threw out as many votes as it took to put Trump in the oval office, thanks largely to mail-in irregularities.

They wouldn't have had the room to strike them down if they were cast in person, genius. My entire point is that this set up creates massive room for fraud. I give a fuck what party the fraudsters hail from.

The state's have shut down 90 % of their local voting places due to the virus, they now have a few mega voting centers. The volunteer election workers at the local precincts are mostly old people who have said they can't take the risk.

So polling places are miles away and not local for many, and then they have to wait 5 hours in line to vote.

PLEASE STOP THIS DISENFRANCHISING of our votes.....that's CHEATING.

Mail in votes is a way to reduce the 5 hour wait times there are voting in person in crowded areas.

There are only 3 New states...actually 2 states and DC, that announced they were mailing ballots to all registered voters due to the pandemic safety issues..... No additional states than these three...have changed their laws to accommodate such an idea that I'm aware...

And here is the kicker....it's California, Nevada, and Washington DC.....

All of them are Democratic voting states.... They all voted for Hillary by majority.... California and DC big time.

Even if your baseless and ridiculous claims of somehow mailing ballots to all registered voters would cause cheating and fraud and Trump to lose.....

It's laughable that you think Trump has a cold chance in hell of ever winning the Electoral Votes in a California etc.....under any circumstance.... in other words, their purpose IS NOT to cheat via mail in....THEY DON'T NEED TO CHEAT to win! IT IS FOR SAFETY REASONS, especially for those who do want to vote in person....less people, the safer the voters and poll workers, will be who do vote in person.

Funny part of this is it's likely to hurt republican'ts more. They tend to be rural. Here in the cities even "slow" mail delivery is a couple of days. It's out in the boonies where it's goanna take a week.

And even in the boonies, for mail in votes, it is likely a person within the State.... the mail in ballot does not have to go across country, where it could take a week.... They just need the mail processing machines to stay, instead of removing some of them, as Trump's USPS pawn is doing.

Trump admits he’s BLOCKING stimulus plan and funding for US Postal Service in bid to stop mail-in voting

THE PRESIDENT is holding up Americans' stimulus checks because he wants to prevent voting by mail fraud.

President Trump said Thursday morning he is blocking the $2 trillion stimulus package put forth by Democrats because it allots $25 billion in emergency funding to the U.S. Postal Service, which he equated as "election money" in convoluted reasoning involving mail-in ballots.

The president confidently emitted this morning on Fox News's 'Mornings with Maria,' that funding the U.S. Postal Service is a secret guise for allowing mail-in ballots.

"That's a rigged election waiting to happen. It's rigged and everyone knows it because you can't send out 60 million mail-in ballots to everybody in the--who knows who's going to get them," the president uttered this morning.

"The mailmen are going to get them, people are just gonna grab batches of them. And you're talking about China and Russia and they'll be grabbing plenty of them. It's a disaster," he said as he continued his tirade against the U.S. Postal Service.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrats have put forth a $3 trillion stimulus package under the HEROES Act, which the speaker went over this morning during her weekly briefing as bringing money to areas impacted most by the COVID-19 crisis.

However, Trump is unwilling to budge on the $25 billion Democrats will allocate to the "financially troubled" U.S. Postal Service.

'That's election money basically,' he said. "If they don't get those two items, that means you can't have universal mail-in voting."

Trump places blame of the stalled stimulus package negotiations onto the Democrats.

"It's their fault," he said. "They want $3.5 billion for something that's fraudulent ... for the mail-in votes, universal mail-in ballots. They want $25 billion for the post office."

How is supresssing the vote a good thing for America? But first, define America.

America is not the liberal utopia where unworkable diversity is pushed and imaginary unicorns roam. Over the years our former leaders had run elections well by limiting voting to land owners or weeding out the would be voters who lacked intelligence by using quizzes. If we actually do let everyone vote, the country we love will fall off the cliff.

I'm assuming this is based on the same logic that the democrats use to justify all of the corners that they cut on election security: There haven't been that many convictions for voter fraud, therefore these obvious opportunities we've created for fraud don't actually exist.
