I think Trump went a bit too far, but considering the massive shitstorm laid into him the past decade by the entire left, I am not shocked by it.
We also need to find out why the Son killed his parents before really figuring out what the hell happened.

There are two types of Trump voters: The people who voted for him because they weren't enthralled by Harris and perhaps felt more comfortable with his economic plans, immigration, etc. Then there is his devoted cult who worships his every word. The first group is not nearly as loyal as the latter and we're seeing that play out. Their support has slowly been peeling away and examples like this push more of them out of his camp every day. The cult, however, will let him get away with anything. They'll even cheer him on no matter how repugnant and immoral his actions. These are the same people who defended his attempt at burying everything Epstein. You're seeing it today in this thread and on social media.
Unfortunately for Trump, the cult is not enough to keep him and the GOP afloat. They will lose at least one, possibly both, chambers of Congress next year, not to mention a bloodbath down ballot in state elections because the tepid supporters of 2024 will either vote Democrat in protest or not vote at all.

Well, it's not as if his detractors have shown any dignity or concern. One need only see the responses to Kirks death, to the attempt against Trump that missed by a millimitre, Rush Limbaughs death etc.
I get why he is angry and maybe meatheads son did get angry due to his dads TDS as Trump suggests, I don't know. Once in awhile he has to try and rise above it but he believes that being on offense all the time is a good strategy. I think it has allowed his message on the economy and other key policies such as defending your border to be drowned out.
