That Trump is a pathological liar is but one of scores of reasons why he’s unfit to be president.

For more than two hours Trump did nothing to stop the violent, lawless attack of the Capitol Building – an attack he himself incited.

There’s Trump’s disgraceful, reprehensible attempt to exploit fallen American soldiers for crass political theater.

And now we have Trump announcing his intent to subject his political opponents to criminal prosecution for the ‘crime’ of being his political opponents – which is fundamentally fascist.

For these and scores of other reasons, Trump is unfit to be president – beyond partisan politics, policy positions, and the issues; there is no way to rationalize or justify voting for Trump.

It’s utter madness to want Trump in the WH – completely insane.

It is. But I think there's growing evidence that trying to do so is incompatible with freedom and democracy. Government should protect our freedom to create the kind of society we want, via voluntary collaboration and persuasion - not the force of law.

There is plenty of European countries that spend money changing society with higher ranking of freedom.

Of course you do. But that's not it. I have a problem with our country becoming ungovernable and disintegrating. When we allow the 51% to (try to) force change on society, against the will of the 49%, the 49% will eventually stop playing along. They'll revoke sovereignty. That's what's happening now.

And it's not just Trumpsters. If Trump wins, we'll see the same kind of rejection of government from liberals as Republicans try to use the government to force their changes to society.

The culture war is tearing the nation apart, and the only solution is for both sides to concede; to acknowledge that society isn't theirs to mold.

A GOP President has only won one popular vote in America in ove 30 years.

Even now the majority of US voters could be rejected... If Harris wins by only 1.5 - 2% she has a 25% chance of winning.

The majority have rights, they are sometimes being ruled by the minority to the point 6 out of 9 SC justices were appointed by a party that only won popular vote in America in over 30 years. That is a super majority from the minority view of Americans.

The reason America is tearing itself apart is the ending of the Fairness Doctrine... Americas are not singing from the hymn sheet, they have there own bubbles which has breed tribalism.

America has been weakened by not being to able to find the middle. I am sorry but if it is the MAGAs and denigrating the RINOS or Progressives denigrating Machin, they are both wrong.
Let me say IMHO the Right wing here has bigger problems, they are far more vindictive at rooting out any moderate candidates compared to Democrats. Not that Democrats are any shining beacon either.
