Mueller found that Russia interfered in our 2016 election “in sweeping and systematic fashion.” When asked repeatedly whether he raised the issue of election interference or warned Putin not to do it again, Trump said, “We didn’t discuss that. Really, we didn’t discuss it.”

Kim Jong Un returned from his summit with the Russian dictator, Vladimir Putin, to fire off a series of short-range ballistic missiles that threaten our 27,500 troops near Seoul. Trump tweeted, "He also knows that I am with him & does not want to break his promise to me. Deal will happen!"

Mueller is likely to appear before Congress next week to clarify the misleading statements made by William Barr.

Trump's former personal attorney began a three-year prison sentence today.

On Wednesday, Trump's A.G. will be found in contempt of Congress.

Today, Trump's Sec'y of the Treasury, Steven Mnuchin violated U.S. law by not providing Trump's taxes to the House Ways and Means Committee.

Trump's approach to these crises? Create more controversy. That has been his pattern for 28 months.

On Sunday, Trump threatened to impose a 25% tariff on $525B worth of Chinese goods. The only reason the stock market didn't tank is that Wall Street didn't believe him. It was just another Trump meaningless threat.

Today, our esteemed Commander-in-Chief deployed our fleet based on what Israel said. More specifically, what Mossad said. Trump deems foreign leaders and foreign intelligence more credible than American intelligence. Remember Helsinki.

Trump has moved closer to a military conflict with Iran than at any time in his presidency, redirecting warships to the Middle East to respond to "heightened Iranian threats to U.S. troops and facilities," according to Israel. The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier led a carrier strike group toward the region based on the Israeli information.

The situation has escalated swiftly since Trump designated Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization last month. According to Trump, Iran's military force is on par with Hamas, Al Qaeda, and ISIS.

Information about possible Iranian plots against the U.S. or its allies in the Gulf were raised two weeks ago in talks held at the White House between an Israeli delegation headed by national security adviser Meir Ben Shabbat and a U.S. team led by John Bolton, who made the announcement Sunday.

Trump has done exactly what the Israeli delegation intended. Thank you, Mr. President.

Of course, the intelligence about a possible Iranian plot is vague at this stage, but the Israeli officials said it was clear the threat was against a U.S. target in the Gulf or U.S. allies like Saudi Arabia or the UAE or Egypt or Morocco or Canada.

Hey, I added Canada just for laughs. The point being, Trump is deploying our military based on a foreign entity with an obvious agenda. Once again, his lack of experience produces a glaring fault.

I have been a student of modern history for nearly six decades, and I am well acquainted with modern warfare.

The Hill reports, Iran is likely moving short-range ballistic missiles by boat in the Persian Gulf, a key reason the United States decided this week to move an aircraft carrier strike group and bombers to the area, CNN reported Tuesday.

Movement of ballistic missiles by boat? In terms of a provocative threat, I have never heard of something so strange. Then, according to the Trump administration, this bizarre move caused Trump to order a carrier strike group and bombers to the Persian Gulf. We already have have overwhelming military forces in the region, particularly air assets. CENTCOM is located in Qatar along with Al Udeid Air Base.

"The network, citing several U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the situation, reported that movement of the missiles along with intelligence from other areas led the Trump administration to believe Iran had an intention to launch strikes against U.S. targets," The Hill.

Where are they moving the missiles? By boat, not a ship, by boat? Why are they moving the missiles? Targets within Iraq and Syria are well within range of launch sites in Iran itself.

"We have information you don't want to know about," Trump said today.

Oh, yes, we do, Mr. President. Are you ordering ship movements based solely on what a foreign power is telling you?

Trump practically admitted there is no threat to our forces.

The most absurd assertion by Trump is that Iran will attack U.S. forces. That simply won't happen.

Iran has not launched an aggressive war in modern history (unlike the US or Israel), and its leaders have a doctrine of “no first strike.” This is true of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as well as of Revolutionary Guards commanders.
