We won the Iran war! Trump's repetitive statements without an actual win occurring!

Impeach Trump!
He would have been impeached in his first term if it wasn't for his cult followers being Senators and refusing to evaluate facts. The same thing is happening now, meaning that cult following is more important than seeking the truth and getting justice.

I mean, look at you. Would you EVER impeach Trump even if facts were presented to you that were undeniable? Of course not! You would kiss his ass and say "give me more of the same, you are great!"

First, you got to impeach Trump on legitimate offenses.
TDS is not a legitimate offense.
The real question is, would you ever NOT impeach Trump? :eusa_whistle:

You have to remember that the House DID impeach Trump, meaning he was impeached for "legitimate offenses".

TDS, meaning Trump Devotion Syndrome, is also not a legitimate defense!

You ask me a question (as a response to my question), but you did not answer mine? Only biased assholes that do not have an answer, do that? It is called "deflecting". You have accomplished the highest award possible, for being the biggest deflector ever!

Like I said, legitimate offences. Which they weren't.
Now, I'm done with you, enjoy your day, son, and get back to school.
Might want to take a summer course.

OPINION, OPINION, and more OPINION

Your statement of "I'm done with you" is the best thing you have ever said to me. I sincerely HOPE that I never get a response from you again, on any of my OP's/posts. You have no value as a debater. I believe you probably have no value as a person, though it is possible (1%) that I am wrong, given that I do not know you personally. I would not be surprised to learn you have no one that can stand being with you, in real life!

Why would anyone conclude that a strait that moves less than 20% of the worlds oil cause a "global recession"? Fact the US has been moving millions of barrels of oil through the strait while Iran is powerless to stop it.

If a leftist was in power and demanding that the US still use oil produced by the world's despots there might be a problem, with the lefts solution being to give said despots billions of US tax dollars to appease them on their way to nuclear armament.

Reality: There's a new sheriff in town. There is quite a difference between Cowards, Frauds, Communists, Anti-American politics and the current Administration. I'd suggest the leftists on their board go find a gay parade at a baseball game and leave the real work to real men.

Since the war began over 13 weeks ago, Trump has claimed progress 32 times and over 12 times he has claimed a win and an end to the war, and yet here we are 3 months later and NOTHING has been resolved (no win and no peace agreement).

A timeline of Trump's shifting statements about how long the Iran war will last

U.S. and Iran representatives are expected to meet this week in Pakistan to discuss an end to the war. Since the U.S. and Israel launched the strikes against Iran Feb. 28, President Donald Trump has made contradictory statements about the timeline to end the war. He has repeatedly declared victory and then later threatened Iran.

AI Overview

President Donald Trump has declared victory over Iran at least 12 times since the conflict began in early 2026, with some estimates running even higher. These triumphalist claims have been made repeatedly, even as the war continues and the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. [1, 2, 3, 4]
These victory declarations include the following highlights:
  • March 2026: Trump declared that the U.S. had won, stating on different days that the "war is complete" and won "in the first hour." [1, 2]
  • April 2026: Following a ceasefire agreement, Trump told the press he had achieved a "total and complete victory", a phrase echoed by the Pentagon. [1]
  • May and June 2026: Trump has repeatedly claimed that Iran's military is entirely decimated, recently telling the press that a theoretical victory is achieved but extending the ongoing conflict as negotiations progre
At what point can it be said that Trump is a blowhard, a cackler, and a fake braggadocio?

When do the people that support him wake up and say "enough"?
So, you favor a bad deal and letting Iran win? No surprise there since you thought Obama made a good deal.

talking to you is a total waste of time. Not only do you not listen or read/interpret what a person says but you are as dumb as it gets.

Enjoy your fantasy while it lasts. All fantasies end and usually the ending hurts because you were unable to see it coming.

Let me float this concept out there just to make a few heads explode...

The whole strategy of Iran was to string this conflict out until after the midterms with the hope that Republicans would be so damaged by inflation that Democrats would take back control of the House and Senate therefore putting Trump in a position where he could no longer wage war. Does anyone question that concept?

So Trump isn't stupid. He knows exactly what the Iranians and the Democrats strategy is. Right?

So Trump decides to play the game...only he's playing it one step ahead of both the IRGC and the Democrats. He gets an agreement from Iran (which any rational person knows this Iranian regime will never adhere to...they'll cheat on it almost immediately because that's what they've ALWAYS done!)...the Straight of Hormuz opens...the price of oil drops...inflation falls...the economy takes off like a rocket in the months leading up to the midterms. The Democrats lose their biggest issue to run on. They're stuck running on their liberal agenda...which obviously doesn't work anywhere it's being implemented! All of which leads to the GOP retaining the House and the Senate.

At which point Trump can once more turn his attention to the IRGC who stupidly are thinking they've once more "outsmarted" another American President! Only this time there isn't an election for another two years which means Trump can impose his blockade on them once again and bring this regime to it's knees once and for all. The Iranians might be able to tough out six months of having their economy shut down knowing the American midterms are coming and Trump needs to cut a deal but NOW they're facing having their economy shut down for YEARS! That's ballgame over, Kiddies!

That's just my take on things. Could be wrong. Hope I'm spot on...

The big problem with your thinking is that it was Trump that started the war (not the Democrats) so they have nothing to do with ending it. He put himself in a hole causing Oil to soar and now and after seeing how it has affected him (and his rich friends), he is trying to find a way to undo what he has done.

Unfortunately for him, the damage done to the Oil industry is not something that will get fixed by ending the war. Even if it ends today, analysts have clearly shown that Oil and gasoline prices are not likely to go down much before next year, so the damage is done (by Trump) and he has no power to fix it in a way that will help the Republicans in the midterm elections.

We do not believe you. Come on! Republicans keep playing hopscotch while you guys go on your torrid paces.

You choose to believe "analysts" that tell you prices are not likely to go down much before next year because that's what you HOPE will happen, Lucky! They will go down. A nice drop immediately. Then a gradual decline over a few months. It's going to drop the price of gasoline at the pump LONG before the mid terms and people will understand that those prices will continue to go down!

you mean that "playing hopscotch" is the way to run a country successfully and being torrid about running the country is the wrong thing to do?

have you actually read and analyzed what you just wrote?

Do you actually do any "general" research into HOW THINGS WORK? or do you simply believe blindly into what Trump says and on your own inexperience on subjects.

Can you show ANYTHING that disproves what analysts say?

Here is specifically what the analysts say and the REASONS they believe it is what is going to happen:

AI Overview

Analysts predict that even if the conflict with Iran ends immediately, oil and gasoline prices will remain elevated because it will take months to clear shipping backlogs in the Strait of Hormuz, repair damaged energy infrastructure, and rebuild critically depleted global reserves.

The extended timeline for normalization is driven by several key factors:

  • Shipping Logjams: Clearing the backlog of hundreds of tankers waiting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz will take weeks, and restoring total confidence in the safety of transit routes will take much longer.
  • Infrastructure Damage: Severe damage to energy and export facilities in the region will take substantial time and labor to repair.
  • Depleted Inventories: Global oil stocks have dropped drastically during the conflict. Once fighting stops, countries and refiners will aggressively hoard crude to replenish their strategic petroleum reserves, artificially sustaining high demand.
  • Futures Pricing: Oil market Brent Crude futures contracts—which directly impact market pricing—already reflect these ongoing supply concerns, trading at a steep premium deep into the year.
Knowing your way of thinking, you are now going to say "you believe AI"?

So here are actual analysts (knowledgeable about the processes)

Gas Prices Set To Stay High Across 2026—Even if Iran War Ends

FactCheck

What Will Happen to Gasoline Prices When the Iran War Ends?

President Donald Trump on multiple occasions has assured the public that high gasoline prices will “rapidly” or “quickly” decline “as soon as” the war with Iran ends. Energy experts told us that prices will start to fall when the conflict is resolved, but it could take many months before the national average price is back to where it was before the conflict began.

“For pre-war prices to show up, it could take beyond a year,” Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for the fuel-price tracking service GasBuddy, said in an interview. But he told us that there are “a lot of different potential” outcomes depending on what happens when the war ends.

but "no", none of this means anything. This is the knowledge man that you believe, right?

Did I at any time state that we would reach pre conflict prices immediately? I believe I was quite clear that there would be a substantial decrease in the price of oil as soon as the Straight of Hormuz was opened and then the price of oil would gradually decrease to where it was pre conflict. The analogy for price increases and decreases is that prices rise like a rocket and fall like a feather. Oil prices rose quickly. They will go down at a more leisurely pace but they will go down and importantly...people KNOW that they will be going down!

As for your contention that countries that have depleted their oil reserves will "hoard" oil as soon as oil prices start to go down? Why would a rational nation buy large amounts of oil at a price they know will be much lower in six months? The answer to that is they won't...they'll wait. I hate to poke holes in the analysis of your "experts" but they don't show much in the way of common sense!

That's what happens to serial criminals.
