And worse still, we have the transcript demonstrating Trump *explicitly* connecting additional assistance from the US with the 'favor' of investigation into Trump's political rival.

With Trump demanding that the President of the Ukraine work with his *personal lawyer*. Obliterating any argument of this being an official investigation.

Trump has earned his impeachment inquiry. And the rising support for his impeachment. He's not only corrupt, he's stupid. As what idiot solicits aid from a foreign government in an election on a recorded line?

No, they perceived a crime and are investigating. There will be articles drawn and voted on and the Senate will very likely have to have a trial.
