In my reality, Americans are dying every day from the drugs being manufactured and distributed through Central America. President Trump is also dealing with China, what did you think the high tariffs he levied against China were for? Even if the main drug coming from Venezuela wasn't fentanyl, Venezuela is still a primary transit country for cocaine and heroin, both of which still kill more Americans every year than the number who died throughout the entire Vietnam War.

These drugs originate mostly in neighboring Colombia and are then moved through Venezuela via air and sea routes, destined for the Caribbean, Europe, Central America, and the United States. What President Trump is doing is effectively choking off the flow of drugs from one of the biggest transporters.

Tell ya what: If you don't like the fact that President Trump is waging a war against a narco-terrorist country like Venezuela, make you a little cardboard sign, put on a funny costume, and go stand out in the street ranting and raving about "Orange Man Bad." But don't expect to garner much support.

After Looking at a "Ton of Data",...... I'm Thinking that a "Recession", at least where it Affects the Middle Class, has been here for many years.

The Costs of Materials in My Trade, have at the least Doubled, even Tripled, &/or, are not available. And a lot of this began with Trump's First Tariffs!

At the Grocery Stores,..... It's been years since $200.00 would fill Two Shopping Carts.

If Trump had given American Businesses,Manufacturers, Importers, & Exporters, enough time, to Stock up for an extended time period, as well as find Alternative Suppliers, & Markets,..... Then the Economic Pain & Chaos, may have been Toned Down Considerably.

Since I consider drug addiction a form of slavery, I support any actions that slows the flow of drugs into the United States. As I see it, we can continue to blow up drug boats from now to eternity, or we can attempt to go to the source of the problem. If nothing else, this may serve as a deterrent to those nations that enable or look the other way when drugs are shipped in this manner.

If the mainstream liberal news media can be believed concerning the results of the last election, most Venezuelans want change in their government. So perhaps if we weaken the regime, they may take advantage of the opportunity. It’s worth a try, and the way to handle “Forever Wars” is simply not to have them. We set a deadline—like currently, the United States can engage in military operations under the War Powers Resolution for 60 days before having to report to Congress. In that time, we do all the damage we can and attempt to allow the legitimate elected president and his government to take power. If we can’t, we still leave and leave it up to the Venezuelans to decide their own fate.
