We are NATO and are obliged to come to the other surrounding and member NATO NATIONS.... With BOOTS ON THE GROUND and in the AIR of American Military...Putin had and has no desire to stop with Ukraine....

Putin expressed desire to rebuild Russia in to a Soviet Union again, with the ex Soviet bloc nations of which many are NATO, and if successful with his aggressive attack and war on the Ukraine that Putin started ....those countries, one by one are next!

Stopping Putin in this unprovoked attack on all of the Ukrainian people, would have stunted his grandiose ideas, kept our boots off the ground in the future...(Trump and his love for Putin and Trump's followers by default, hampered that plan quite a bit....by dividing the nation and our resolve, showing weakness on our coats sleeve, otherwise the war would have been over already)

It was also critical to shut Putin down and stand United behind Ukraine to keep China at bay, with the Taiwan situation... They were and are watching...
