It is allowing Trump to not have to pay his own legal bills and adds money to his already billions. He uses the money to pay his family and close allies fees for "supposedly" working for him.

I'm sure Trump wasnt planning on having a DEFENSE FUND when he first ran for president. That wasnt exactly a game plan. It was made necessary by Democrats. And, hes not the first president to use family members. Typically, being an outsider and coming under political assault from before he even took office,
it makes sense for him when you don't know who you can trust.
