I seriously don't understand why people are making such a big deal over this asshole. He said outright at his last immigration hearing that he feared going back to El Salvador because of retribution from a rival gang. That is an admission he is in a gang.
I can't speak for others, so only speaking for myself here. For me it has nothing to do with any one individual.
For me it's about being vigilant in protecting our most cherished constitutional and natural rights.... because anyone who has been paying attention in the last few decades knows that there has been an ongoing assault on all our rights, liberties and privacy.
And here's the part that many don't get....The powers-that-shouldn't-be are really good at tricking people into
willingly giving up our liberties, rights and privacy. I've stated many times on other threads that I believe the whole border problem was created to be used as a pretext to bring about a pre-planned "solution." And that "solution" is not good for any of us. Unless you want to live in an authoritarian, unconstitutional Orwellian technocratic police state.
Here's an example of how they're using the illegal immigration problem as a way to assault the Constitution and Bill of Rights:

That is a blatant 4th Amendment violation. But because the PTSB have intentionally riled up the public into an angry frenzy about the illegal immigration problem (which THEY created)....we have folks cheering on the blatant trampling of not only the 4th amendment, but numerous other amendments as well.
Of course, the response to that is always "But it's the bad guys."
True, but here's the part people aren't getting....
When you grant the government unconstitutional power and allow them to trample all over the constitution and bill of rights, even for the bad people we
don't like,
it establishes a precedent.
And that precedent will eventually come back to US, normal, non-criminal US citizens, when the wrong people get in power.
As I've said many times on other threads....conservatives and patriots have
already been falsely labeled criminals or "domestic terrorists." That has happened a number of times in the past, and I think it's just going to get worse, because the word "terrorist" has been increasingly weaponized.
Do you really think that if we allow Gestapo-like tactics just because they're being used on people we don't like...that those same tactics won't ever be used on US, or anyone who the government wants to silence or "disappear"?
The bottom line is, people need to stop reacting to everything in an emotional way. Because things like anger, fear and hatred impair critical thinking. Instead we need to be vigilant and have foresight. Keep in mind that one of the main ways liberty is lost is through deception. I can see that happening. A few others can too. But most cannot, it seems.
