McALLEN, Texas (Border Report) — The son of a reputed Romanian mob boss has been sent back to Eastern Europe after crossing the border illegally into South Texas, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said.

Alexandru Claudiu Pascu, 24, who also is known as Marco Kalu, “is the son of reputed Romania crime boss Marcel Kalu,” ICE officials said.

Pascu was apprehended on Oct. 20, 2021, near the border in Roma, Texas, an ICE spokesperson told Border Report on Monday.

He was released into the United States “pending determination of his immigration status,” ICE officials said.

But on May 16, he was arrested by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police on domestic battery charges. He also was charged with discharging a gun. He was convicted of domestic battery on June 2 in a Las Vegas court and was being held at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas.

In September, ICE officers with the agency’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) department received an immigration detainer from an immigration judge.

We've had mass surveillance for decades, so that hasn't been introduced with this 'crisis'. The interviewer is denying the tattoos are there at all, at about the 1:18 minute mark he says 'they're not there in El Salvador', and that's what Trump is stating, that the interviewer refuses to acknowledge that the tattoos are there at all. You want to play this semantics game that Trump actually thinks that 'MS13' is literally tattooed on his fingers. First of all, why would Trump insist on that when the picture has been reported widely all over the place, and he himself has seen them? What would he possibly have to gain by that? Secondly, what he's calling out is the mainstream media's constant deception and lies, that is the important message of this exchange, but all you care about is that you think Trump is saying MS13 is 'literally' on this guys fingers. You have no clue what came before this, or if they spoke off camera and the interviewer denied the tattoos altogether, just like he does at the 1:18 mark. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and not assume the worst. I seriously don't understand why people are making such a big deal over this asshole. He said outright at his last immigration hearing that he feared going back to El Salvador because of retribution from a rival gang. That is an admission he is in a gang.
