AMES, Iowa — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump slammed Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a decorated Vietnam War veteran, on Saturday by saying McCain was not a war hero because he was captured by the North Vietnamese.

“He’s not a war hero,” Trump said. Sarcastically, Trump quipped, “He’s a war hero because he was captured.” Then, he added, “I like people that weren’t captured.”

This deserves to be shown to all and remembered for his utter disrespect for all that were captured in Vietnam and other wars. His disrespect for our men and women in the arm forces can't be allowed to be air brushed.

And yet, his stature among the military is substantially higher than the Cough Lady's, who telegraphs her "strategic strategies" to the enemy.

Has anyone who is against Trump anything positive to report about his own favorite? Didn´t know how filthy and smeary the elections would become here. Trump has made his positions clear. He is anti-war and pro-friendship. On the other hand, the current government has caused a whole bunch of wars and even acted in some of them directly. Whole cities are destroyed, hundreds of thousands are dead.
