Local National Guard isn't in the same category as Active Duty Federal Military doing the same thing. Plus, they brought Abrams and a host of other war machinery. I don't have to instill anything. The Taxpayer does that. And Congress didn't fund that parade either. 45 million bucks later, it comes out of the money that the President receives for running the Executive Branch which is already millions in the Red and will run out of money in 2 months.

And you still haven't justified the fact that the tRump Administration is spending money faster than a drunken sailor (my apologizes to Sailors with too much to drink). Congress has already pointed this out and has informed the Executives that it's criminal and can be sent to at least a District Court where they have zero tolerance. 2 months is all they have left when they run out completely of money. And they have yet to ask Congress for more money.

Thankfully I left LA decades ago, so am missing the chaos in the streets there. But it would not have surprised me if some would have tried the exact same kind of nonsense in an attempt to disrupt it.

The same reason last weekend I turned down an offer to spend some time with family that was in Portland. No way am I going to Portland, Seattle, LA, SF, or any other big city until sanity returns to those areas.

European armies are modeled on the Prussian slave army of linear formation. In general, the social state is a slave type state, yes. They are not exactly slaves, but they are not free either.

It's been a long time since I was on active duty, but from what I remember, once I left basic training, I never marched again. We did form up for ceremonies from time to time, but we didn't march to them. However, I still remember all the movements, and I can still execute them all And I would bet that most of the other military retirees Can still remember the movements as well. The things that I learned in basic training I think of burned into my brain and I will remember the rest of my life. When the time comes that I can no longer remember those movements, I'll know the end is near.

The reason we generally don't march very well except for specialized drill teams is that we don't practice it it really doesn't have an application of modern warfare his useful training recruits it doesn't affect winning and losing wars we're too busy to do it perfecting marksmanship, Tactics our specialties are more important.
