First of all, the Ukraine was always not only Russian, but Kyiv used to be the capital of Russia.
It only moved to Moscow to escape the Mongol invasion.

Second is that the Ukraine was only taken from Russia by the illegal Treaty of Versailles that wanted to harm the Bolshevik Revolution.

Third is that the US bribed the 2014 Maidan Coup in the Ukraine, with billions delivered by Hunter Biden, and caused over 30k ethnic Russian Ukrainians to be murdered by the fascist Azov Battalion.

Forth is that the Ukraine deliberately started the war with treaty violations, such as trying to block Russian use of Sevastopol, trying to join the EU, trying to put NATO nukes on Russia's border, etc.

Again, Russia has never invaded anyone. The closest would be their attack on Finland.
