Trump portrayed America as a weak, crime-ridden wasteland where everyone lives in poverty.
He also attacked President Obama by proclaiming that “January 20th, 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again, called our military “depleted,” and railed against America’s crumbling infrastructure.
Of course, Trump left out the fact that Republicans blocked infrastructure spending for eight years. He also failed to point out that Republicans have been attacking education for years.
Trump failed to mention that he wants to cut NASA’s budget too, supports the anti-vaccination movement, intends to double down on coal and oil to the detriment of clean energy, and is eliminating a government agency dedicated to researching and developing new technologies to reduce carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.
Also, our military is the most funded military in the world, so claiming that it is depleted is a lie and an insult to our troops.
It should be pointed out that Trump contributed to the shuttering of factories in this country by buying raw materials, like metals, from China to build his hotels with instead of buying it from American companies.

He also joined a friend-of-the-court brief to the Supreme Court in the Gavin Grimm case that suggests that religion could be used to deny transgender students access to the bathroom.

Thanks for telling us, but we already knew that. That attitude is another reason Trump was elected. If you want an abortion or birth control then buy it yourself or work somewhere they are willing to provide it. You don't have the right to force anyone to provide it to you.
And no one is trying to deny trannies the right to use the bathroom. However, people who have dicks have no right to use a bathroom designed for people who don't have one. The claim that they do couldn't be more idiotic.

They are called conflict of interest laws, and yes, they do exist, no matter how much you wish they didn't. The second Trump tells a foreign diplomat to stay at his hotel and they do, then he is in conflict because as president, if he still owns his DC hotel, he is benefiting from a foreign government.

It's not the amount, it's the fact that he would be profiting from a foreign government, which is outlawed by the Constitution. I thought you right wingers were all about the president following it.
I didn't say he couldn't own a business, but the Constitution says he cannot profit from a foreign government. If he keeps ownership of his hotel, then any time a foreign diplomat is recommended to stay there and they do, it could be seen as trying to curry favor with Trump by using one of his hotels.

When foreign diplomats stay in his hotel, then start whining. However, there is no law that forces foreigners to avoid certain hotels, so I don't know how you can enforce such a law.
