To the people who turned us over to rule by unelected judges...enjoy! We didnt ask for it but since we are forced to play the game we have no choice but to win it. And deep down you know it was a mistake your pursuit of raw power over the American people.
Why do you always assume you will have power forever? Like your attack on the filibuster which left you whining and crying in a fetal position when you lost the Senate? Your destruction of the filibuster is most of the reasons Trumps picks sail through now.
This, control of the courts, and the realization that what you were planning to do to us is now going to be done to you, explains 95% of TDS.

What Trump has done to the courts, explained

"No president in recent memory has done more to change the judiciary than Donald Trump... more than one-quarter of active judges are Trump appointees. In less than three years, Trump has named a total of 48 judges to these courts — compared to the 55 Obama appointed during his entire presidency....

In an age of legislative dysfunction, whoever controls the courts controls the country...judges, by contrast, have become the most consequential policymakers in the nation...The judiciary is where policy is made in the United States. And that policy is likely to be made by Republican judges for the foreseeable future..As Justice Sonia Sotomayor said in a candid moment while she was still a lower court judge, “the court of appeals is where policy is made.””

And remember this when you are abusing the House for impeachment

Remember this when the Washington Post and NYT and CNN run articles demanding that you pack the courts at the first opportunity, or set term limits, or limit the picks a President can make.

Remember this when you attack the Electoral College.

Remember this when you refuse to accept the outcome of an election.

Remember that your deviousness and attacks on norms can bite you once your decent opposition decides it has no choice but to beat you at your own game.

"Fighting back feels good. it gains you popularity.

my advice to young politicians: if it feels good do it, if it doesn't work blame somebody else" - Trump
