The original Obamacare law was more than 900 pages and not a single person who voted for it had read it when it was passed. Since then more than 10,000 pages of rules, regulations, etc. have been added to the law with more being written all the time. That is more than 4 times the size of the Bible and War and Peace combined.

Clean up, simplify, utilize practical common sense in Obamacare and you'll see insurance companies doing a much better job.

I guess I don't see it that way as we rarely have a claim denied and in all those cases we were able to work something out with them. I'm sure some are scum as you find bad actors in every industry and discipline.

I don't disagree re the politicians. It is the federal government's failure to manage competently that has driven healthcare prices (and education costs) off the charts.

How about if a hospital or doctor doesn't want to perform a procedure on someone for the money offered? SHould they be forced to? Wouldn't that be slavery?

Tommy is a Lefty and heavily uses the NHS, so he wants others to pay for that. If it was an American system here in the UK, Tommy would be bankrupt. Everything he says is from a spongers point of view. The NHS in the UK needs tweaked, in that, keep it the same but the more you use it, you then start contributing.
