Trump Cooks Up Bonkers Explanation for Why He Posted Meme Seeming to Depict Him as Jesus

Well, to be fair and play devil's advocate in defense of Trump and MAGA...

First off, Trump isn't really MAGA. He's more of a "trans-MAGA." Only identifying as such

Jesus was in fact a healer, no?

So in a sense, Jesus was a doctor.

So Trump was in fact cosplaying neither Jesus nor a doctor.

He was playing Dr. Jesus.

Jesus H. Christ, M.D., coming this fall to Paramount Plus.

^^^ That's funny. My doctor never used any magical, spiritual healing. It was more along the lines of pills and telling me everything I'm doing is wrong. :auiqs.jpg:

Well, she used to. A few years ago I told her that it was her job to fix what ever I break. And reminded her that I'm her job security.
She laughed. I laughed. Then there was that awkward silence. :dunno:

Christians think blasphemy is funny now.
It wasn't really. I think that anytime he makes your head explode it's hilarious. Your faux outrage is hilarious.
Trump and the pope the number one story on the alphabet Network News Channel I watched this evening
swallowwells demise (the congressional rapist) Got about 10 percent of the coverage!. How nuts is that?

Trump is gaslighting his people again

Even though I am wearing a robe with light emanating from my head.
That is what Doctors do

Doctors wear robes too.

When I saw the AI art I imagined they were depicting Trump as someone like Hippocrates or Galen healing the sick. And the patient is Uncle Sam.

You saw Jesus? :abgg2q.jpg:

I'm not a fan of stewart. But this one is worth the watch. Comedy gold.

I was thinking he might be impersonating Jesus Hernandez, an illegal immigrant.

True enough. But I can't get that concerned about whether Trump is a Christian, or whether he lied about it. It's the delusions of grandeur that worry me. The batshit crazy stuff. This is the guy we elected to make life or death decisions for us all.
No doubt, I'm just glad he's done a great job thus far. Glad all we have to worry about is a questionable picture or questionable comment from time to time.

I could never figure it out
Women vote for Trump in spite of his insults
Blacks and Hispanics voted for him
Religious flock to him
I just mentioned this on another thread: I watched a documentary on a quasi-Mormon cult, and the "leader" is jailed for trafficking and marrying girls as young as nine. The guy is IN JAIL, and many of his flock still follow him and say he is their messiah. To this day.

There are many people who are just empty, and whomever fills that hole for them, can do no wrong.

I don’t see why you are all upset. A bunch of left wingers who don’t believe in God and hate religion getting upset that trump posted an admittedly tasteless image, are all getting upset.

Trump does stupid shit sometimes. I think you all are just looking for something to be upset over
Actually it is the fundamentalist Christians who take that stuff seriously.
That is why Trump took it down…..he thought they would like it

Republicans do all of these things at a greater rate than Democrats. The difference is that Democrats funnel it all through the government where so the vast majority of it can get sliced and diced up to crooked politicians.

I love it how the least religious group of people in our country(Democrats) are all scholars on the subject of religion.

15th post
The first three as implemented by Democrats promote idleness. That is not a trait Jesus endorsed.

Jobs? You mean made up government stuff? Nope.

Jesus supported just laws being followed and would not support physically resisting. Authority should be acknowledged as such. What Christian church promotes physically resisting authority? Not mine.
Where did Jesus mention idleness the way you describe it?

Where did he castigate the homeless?

And I’d argue that overturning the tables of the money changers represents him physically challenging authority
