Biden is GONE now and no longer able to cure or not cure cancer, so talking about him is useless. Having said that, I would have demeaned him for saying that, had I known he said it. I had to actually SEARCH to find the video where he said it. It was a stupid thing to say but he did not say it as publicly and as repeatedly as Trump said he will bring inflation down. In addition, the thread is about Trump promising something before the election and now backpedaling on it.

Biden actually believed that under his administration that cancer would be cured. He never backpedaled on that promise. He was a fool for making that promise but he was not a conman sayingit to win the election. Trump is a con artist.

Once again, my question to you is "will you be as angry at Trump for promising something he was unable to deliver as the anger you show against Biden for his unkept promise?"

Answer the question
Nope, Biden is not GONE now. He just handed out some pardons to some corrupt criminals. He's STILL doing damage, get your damn facts straight.

I might be mistaken, but I thought Trump said about lowering the prices of products and devices as opposed to inflation. To do this, he was going to lower the cost of energy, so as costs on businesses came down, so would prices. Not sure about the inflation bit.
I'm still waiting for the quote.

CrazyTrader55 Your Fake News rating is absolutely laughable, There is no fake news given that there is no news given. I was asking a question to the poster. How can a question be Fake News?????

You are biased critic and nothing else

Biden's not gone. He's still president (allegedly) for another month.

Do you think he's going to keep that campaign promise, or was his presidency a failure?

Yo Dingle Berry - other that abolishing the Federal Reserve Board - how else can ANY A-N-Y President prevent inflationary events ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
technically, he can fire the Fed guy.

That is true but there is nothing anyone can do about it. The Supreme Court has clearly stated that presidents cannot be held accountable for their actions while in office. By the way, that decision was brought about by Trump complaining he was being held responsible for his actions while president, meaning that if you support Trump (which evidently you do), you cannot complain about what Biden is doing.

Having said that, this OP is about a conman promising something to get elected but not actually believing he can do it. Why do you bring Biden into this OP and with this question, given that Biden has already lost and nothing he says or does will bring him back to being president again? He is not conning anyone for his own benefit. Trump is conning you and yet you ignore that, why?

Do you think lowering prices or curing cancer is more important?

Okay and for the benefit of your statement, let me agree with you. So what?

Does that mean you approve of Trump being a conman because Biden failed in his campaign promise.

By the way, have you noticed that you NEVER answer a question. You deflect. You are a total con artist yourself. In addition, you are a total coward as you do not have the balls to even face anything that is negative to your biased thinking. You are not worth any more of my time. You are a waste of time and a waste of a human being

Hundreds of times during his campaign, and again after the announcement that he had won the election, Trump has promised that he will lower inflation, "Donald Trump, U.S. President-Elect: I went on groceries. It's a very simple word, groceries. Like almost, you know, who uses the word? I started using the word, the groceries. When you buy apples, when you buy bacon, when you buy eggs, they would double and triple the price over a short period of time. And I won an election based on that. We're going to bring those prices way down".

Three days ago in an interview, he started to backpedal on that promise:

What's behind Trump's backpedaling on his promises to lower prices

After making inflation and the cost of groceries part of his campaign, President-elect Trump is starting to walk back some of his promises to lower prices.

My question on this OP is as follows:

"Will you be forgiving, excusing, or angry at Trump for not keeping his promise?"
It's politicians and their sheep - a never-ending story
And all supporters of a respective party or candidate, will come up with any excuse to defend their vote, candidate or party

So if the prices for apples will go up 30% and those of truffles will go down by 5% - then the respective sheep will tell you that grocery prices definitely went down, and will endlessly reiterate the truffle example.

What really disturbs me about Trump, ain't his hollow promises, or his scumbag rhetoric - but his inability to preserve the US global standing and thus causing a further deterioration of the US economy, since he is a person that is obviously willing to sell out the interests of the USA and it's population to maximize his own profit. Aka a selfish scumbag of the worst kind - given executive powers.

That's the ticket. That is what Trump said a few times.Where this
B.S. crapola comes form... as far as Fixing Inflation.Biden was
never taken to task about Lying what Trump's lowest Inflation
number was as Potus.
Investopedia has a list of President dating back to Eisenhower.
Trump was at 1.9 %.
Thay had Obama at 1.4 % and J.F.K. at 1.1 %.
Obama had unemployment numbers purposedly fudged.
That was in late 2011 and to start off 2012.
Knowing full well that no President was ever Re-elected when
Unemployment was 8 % or higher.
So those who determine Unemployment rate { Bureau of Labor
Statistics } found a convenient way.To recalculate those no longer
in the work force.Instead of a full year they picked just quarterly then
monthly.The rate went from 9.4 % to end 2011.
Obama could not get it under 8 % all of the winter and
spring of 2012.Not until Late summer when magically in september
it dropped .3 in one month.Just in time to breathe a sigh
of relief for the upcoming Presidential Election.
CEO Jack Welch wasted no time in early October the morning
the Unemployment rate was announced { a Friday } and it
dropping .3 % for September
Welch proclaiming ... It was rigged. Can't beat those debating
so fudge the unemployment number.

so xiden's not a conman promising you something he didn't do?

The problem is that even if he fires the Fed Charman in January what was done for up two years prior to January 2025 will adversely affect his administration.
he said he wasn't going to fire him, he and the chairman will figure it out. Need to bring interest rates down immediately.

So, does that mean that you will be angry at Trump for promising something that by your own words "the only way that lowering inflation is by abolishing the Federal Reserve Board"(and that being something he cannot do) he cannot accomplish?
Of course not - he was elected to correct numerous destructive events caused by the BuyThem Administration.

Inflation is similar to the illegal immigration

President Trump can immediately close the borders but he must then detain and deport the illegals already here.

The same thing occurs with arbitrarily printing money - the money was already printed and sent to Ukraine or to wherever it was sent - but that money will not cause an inflationary event until the money is spent and presented to the FRB for processing ,

well it appears ole lucky lied. so there's that. you think ole lucky is a politician? interesting huh?

The bottom line of the thread is the "conman actions" of Trump, by promising something just to get elected but not actually believing that he can do it. It is what a scam artist does.
what exactly was the promise again? Do you even know what you're talking about yet? Let's get some facts presented with some receipts cuck!!!!

Biden actually believed that under his administration that cancer would be cured.
We he lied . The ONLY way to prevent an inflationary spiral is

(a) STOP printing money - which he did not do
(b) Increase interest rates - which is typically politically unacceptable
