Hundreds of times during his campaign, and again after the announcement that he had won the election, Trump has promised that he will lower inflation, "Donald Trump, U.S. President-Elect: I went on groceries. It's a very simple word, groceries. Like almost, you know, who uses the word? I started using the word, the groceries. When you buy apples, when you buy bacon, when you buy eggs, they would double and triple the price over a short period of time. And I won an election based on that. We're going to bring those prices way down".

Three days ago in an interview, he started to backpedal on that promise:

What's behind Trump's backpedaling on his promises to lower prices

After making inflation and the cost of groceries part of his campaign, President-elect Trump is starting to walk back some of his promises to lower prices.

My question on this OP is as follows:

"Will you be forgiving, excusing, or angry at Trump for not keeping his promise?"

How is Biden's promise to cure cancer going?

The thread at no time talks about keeping or not keeping the promise. The thread is about him saying he will bring down inflation and now backpedaling on those words. This is not about actual actions done or not done, it is about promises made to win the election and now no longer making that promise.

Why use certainty words when there is no certainty? Answer that question, which is what the OP asks!
Why do you think acknowledging fixing the mess the dems created will be hard is backpedaling?

About the certainty of his words before the election and that certainty no longer there after the election.

In simple words, conman actions!
I might be mistaken, but I thought Trump said about lowering the prices of products and devices as opposed to inflation. To do this, he was going to lower the cost of energy, so as costs on businesses came down, so would prices. Not sure about the inflation bit.

I'm going to at least wait for him to get started!

That's if you a-holes don't try to impeach him again before he even gets into office. Remember 2017, Marxists like Mad Maxine Waters saying he should be impeached before he even took office?
The bottom line of the thread is the "conman actions" of Trump, by promising something just to get elected but not actually believing that he can do it. It is what a scam artist does.

Again.

Let's wait until he actually, you know, takes office.

Are Lefties getting annoyed that Trump will find it difficult to sort out Biden's mess, lol

Still no quote from Trump?

Hack.

EXCELLENT QUESTION

The action of inflating the currency now will cause a reaction , i.e. an inflationary event on December 2026. There is NOTHING President Trump can do to prevent that from happening.

Well, cutting $1T in labour costs only to spend $750B in corporate hand outs or some other boondoggles that replaces it, defeats the point.

If Trump can leave office and say, the U.S debt down to $32T from it's current $36T, he would set a major precedent. Furthermore, if would help the next GOP candidate to try and win and do similar.

Couple that with say 3-5% growth per year and within 8 years, the U.S would be in far better fiscal shape.
got to keep the wuhan experiences out of the equation and he doesn't control that. Or do you not recall that experience where every politician lied to crush our economy?

Yo Dingle Berry - other that abolishing the Federal Reserve Board - how else can ANY A-N-Y President prevent inflationary events ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Since you bring that up in a demeaning way to Biden, does that mean that you will also demean Trump if he fails to bring down inflation?

Well, did you demean Biden for failing to cure cancer?

Or do you believe he did cure cancer? I never know with you cult wackos.

So, does that mean that you will be angry at Trump for promising something that by your own words "the only way that lowering inflation is by abolishing the Federal Reserve Board"(and that being something he cannot do) he cannot accomplish?

Biden is GONE now and no longer able to cure or not cure cancer, so talking about him is useless. Having said that, I would have demeaned him for saying that, had I known he said it. I had to actually SEARCH to find the video where he said it. It was a stupid thing to say but he did not say it as publicly and as repeatedly as Trump said he will bring inflation down. In addition, the thread is about Trump promising something before the election and now backpedaling on it.

Biden actually believed that under his administration that cancer would be cured. He never backpedaled on that promise. He was a fool for making that promise but he was not a conman sayingit to win the election. Trump is a con artist.

Once again, my question to you is "will you be as angry at Trump for promising something he was unable to deliver as the anger you show against Biden for his unkept promise?"

Answer the question

It shouldn't take longer than 3 months in office to get gas under $1.50 per gallon.
