Scott Bessent. There are too many moving parts to keep the tariffs on, Trump proved his point. Trump wants the "big beautiful Bill" to move and there are too many problems, so he simplified. Its a good move. Take the tariff issue off the table for now.

Yes it worked. He caused the market to crash and rich people bought a lot of stock on Friday and yesterday.

There are no unfair trade practices. Countries protect industries that are vital their countries.

Even Trump's best advisers are telling him to be targeted and strategic and careful with this trade war. Maybe he should have started with China first? Instead of pissing off the rest of the world first? Now if you read his latest tweet, he says he's doing this to stop China from ripping us off but also every other country in the world. So now those countries are going to rally behind Trump when he takes on China? I bet not.
