Trump blinks

224 to 265. Had I taken $2000 and purchased 9 shares of Tesler this morning I'd have $2385.

My brother bought 893 shares. He made $36,000
How much would you have if you bought $2000 of shares on January 20?

No they aren't. That's flat-out false.

Trump claims 50 countries have "reached out". That's not negotiating.

Also, if Trump says "50", its probably three.

There may be 47 who have called to ask if Trump is taking his meds.

He did this about NAFTA. Screamed about the terrible deals.. then negotiated the exact same deal.. then came back 4 years later and said "who negotiated these terrible deals?"
Let's see what happens.

Not by the entire planet, dipshit.
Not by the penguins.
Stop drinking the Kool-Aid and wake the **** up.
75 countries want to renegotiate tariffs. Penguins too. Please try to make a provable point when you type.

Of course he was going to surrender and declare it the greatest American victory since WWII, even greater really

If you bought $2000 of Tesla in January when Trump was sworn in, you'd have $1300 today.

Link please. That is all total bullshit.
  • Chinese firms control 95% of global maritime container inventory production, 85% of global intermodal chassis production and 53% of the global commercial ship order book
  • Over 57% of ships under construction — and expected to hit the water in the next two or three years — are in China. And its dominance is set to grow further as in excess of three-quarters of new orders by tonnage have been placed with Chinese yards.

Scott Bessent. There are too many moving parts to keep the tariffs on, Trump proved his point. Trump wants the "big beautiful Bill" to move and there are too many problems, so he simplified. It’s a good move. Take the tariff issue off the table for now.
Trump proved his strategy was a disaster.

Trump urged Americans to trust in his sweeping tariffs, which have spooked markets and threaten to upend global trade, urging them: "Don't be a PANICAN (A new party based on Weak and Stupid people!)."

Who are the tariff 'PANICANS' derided as 'weak and stupid' by Trump? Turns out he is.

Donald Trump Backs Down On His Trade War Against The World

“Based on the lack of respect that China has shown to the World’s Markets, I am hereby raising the Tariff charged to China by the United States of America to 125%, effective immediately. At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off the U.S.A., and other Countries, is no longer sustainable or acceptable,” Trump posted Wednesday afternoon.
“Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 Countries have called Representatives of the United States, including the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, and the USTR, to negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative to Trade, Trade Barriers, Tariffs, Currency Manipulation, and Non Monetary Tariffs, and that these Countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape, or form against the United States, I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE, and a substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Now he's taking on China and based on his comment he's doing it not only for us but for the rest of the world.

Did you buy on the dip?

Or did you just cry like a little *****?

15th post
Appears he is rightfully focusing harder on China. This is not going to end well for China if Trump rallies their neighbours to Americas side. He bumped it up to 125% which I think is too little. I'd go at least 200% considering the depths and length of duration of Chinas abuses which WTO ignored. 100k Dead each year in America alone would justify 200%

He needs to get Japan, S Korea and other wealthier, democratic, capitalist nations to invest in America. Create jobs in exchange for more open markets and I would argue easier immigration.

Hell I'd go further and have the government fund programs to learn Japanese, Korean etc and have those nations do the same with English. If you can communicate, you can build bridges and economic integration.

The war against America and the West has been on for 30 years, Trump is taking it on when others turtled

Trump just posted that he’ll hit pause on the 10 per cent global tariff he imposed last week, but will raise the levies on China to 125 per cent.
You have a lot to say from Canada. But your country is not doing the same thing. There is no war on the west. Look at the world honestly and what the west has caused.

Let's see what happens.
I would rather have a plan. Why would we go at China without the rest of the free world on our side? That would be crazy. Of course so is tariffs on penguins.

Those are regarding containers and ship production. Here is what you claimed:
"Don't forget 95% of what comes into the USA comes in on a Chinese cargo vessel."

You did NOT prove that Chinese flagged ships control 95% of US imports.
