Using it's markets to replace America as the worlds favorite trading partner, won't give it that. It would REVERSE the flow of money, which is ever worse than STOPPING the flow of money.

I just think you are being played. No, I know you are being played.

Here's what we should have done a long time ago. Figured out what was important to us as a country and figured out what wasn't important. Some things we buy from China or other countries but VITAL things we make here at home. I'm in agreement with you.

But now they just want to bring companies home because foreign wages have gone up and shipping shit back here costs too much. Great, come home. And pay us your taxes you owe. But Republicans won't do that. They'll give them tax breaks to come back. Which makes no sense. And those jobs won't pay well. Most will be robots. But corporations will make out great. And some jobs will come back. Still not smart to not have them pay taxes.

And so uneducated blue collar workers will still struggle nor will they get their fair share. You keep hoping that if Trump could just get everything he wanted, that would have fixed things. But you know he's never going to get that. But you'll still consider it a win, somehow.

Trump didn't NEED to buy all his merch from China but he did. So you're saying we need to mandate that no one can buy from China? I agree. Just like we need to mandate everyone go Green. Well 20% depends on the product. How much do they want to pay for tv's, and do they have any domestic tv industry? That's possibly a totally opposite answer when you ask about the EV market.
