Nice try Skippy

But these were all relatively minor or went through appropriate coordination

I've long noted that it's incredibly hard for Trump to follow through on anything.
Like stopping the scourge at our border?
Raising the GDP?
No tax on tips?
Illegals leaving?
Lowering food and gas?

And he is just getting started.
He will be the first to dance in our new ballroom/dinning hall with his elegant wife. No more dignitaries under tents in the back yard...

Okay, once again, you added nothing to the conversation.

This project is stalled, going nowhere, and will end up costing the taxpayers hundreds of millions with nothing to show for it.
Didn't cost us anything. LOL how stupid of you

So you want Whitehouse formal gatherings to be held in tents forever?

You should be thanking Trump for bringing the US out of the tents and into a new magnificent ballroom.

There are plenty of ballrooms to rent if needed, and we shouldn't be spending half a billion on a ballroom when we are 31 Trillion in debt and people are going hungry.

Talk about tone deaf.

Are you going to benefit from that ballroom? I know I'm not.

"WE" aren't spending any money on the new ballroom, and "WE" are $38T in debt.

The US won't need to have tents for formal diplomatic events. That makes us look like hillbillies.

Actually, it will probably cost the taxpayers a lot, since they don't even have a budget yet

This is Trump's history, build something gaudy, and leave someone else on the hook for it.
Actually you're wrong, the ballroom will cost taxpayers nothing. $0 Trump has a history of being a billionaire because of smart business decisions. He's doing the same for our country. You're just envious because China can't. Check out that bridge that China just built LOL how embarrassing for you

We need to end "Home Rule" and get DC back to a safe modern showplace instead of a crime ridden slum.

Have you ever been to DC?

I have been dozens of times, walked the streets, rode the Metro, eaten at restaurants, went to bars

Never had a problem

I could have, but I had to give foundation.

No, lots of people died from the plague Trump unleashed on American and fought tooth and nail against containing.

There's an old saying, "Prior Planning Prevents Piss-Poor Performance".

Before a single shovel of dirt was turned over, this should have been drawn up, planned out, and submitted to the appropriate agencies for review, instead of "Tear down a chunk of the White House Now and come up with a plan later."
I agree, but I still say, it will end up being held up due to dems tying it up in court

If you have over 200 guests that could fit in the White House…..A tent is an option on a pleasant day.
I have been to weddings in a large tent and they were quite pleasant.

Otherwise there are many offsite venues in DC that can accomodate a larger crowd
A tent usually looks good to the single wide crowd, Gomer.

Offsite venues pose a security risk that would cost way more than having it on the WH property. But hey, that would give you something to whine and cry like a little ***** about. :laughing0301:

The ballroom is going to turn out fine and the taxpayers will not be out one dime. It's a real nothing burger for you to ***** about don't you think?

You misspelled China, the people that couldn't even build a big bridge without it falling over. LOL
