Democrats are running on groceries, gas, rent, premiums, child care…you know, the stuff Americans actually feel every week. Trump’s closing argument? A gunman opened fire at the Correspondents’ Dinner last night, a Secret Service agent took a round to the vest, and within hours Trump was at the podium turning it into a sales pitch for his $400 million ballroom.

Not security reform. Not the wounded agent. The ballroom. By Sunday morning he was on Truth Social bragging the project was “ahead of schedule” and demanding the lawsuits be dropped.

That is the entire 2026 contrast in one weekend. One side is talking about your life. The other is run by a man who couldn’t get through a near-tragedy without making it about his construction project. The most powerful person on Earth, on the worst possible night to make it about himself, made it about himself. If you can’t see the difference, you’re not paying attention … or you don’t want to.

I cannot lie, the Trump administration and GOP have a huge hole to make up just based on qualitative indicators from people on social media. The SAVE Act would certainly be a big deal if they can get it passed.

The GOP best advantage may be that the Dems do not have good policies themselves and have an even older core leadership in general it seems.

He will have to run on illegal immigrants and standing up to trade abusers with tariffs. They will probably impeach him within a few months but there is still time before the actual midterm.

Democrats run on having working people pay for their free loaders

Fake conservative doesn't know me.

You really should stop, enough have outed you

It's simple, I don't have to support you no matter what your party says. You nor anyone else.

Now stop your worn out charade and get with reality.

I don't trust that either side of the aisle can or will do much to improve conditions here in America. Both sides will focus on things the American public wants to hear and will make lofty promises then renege on those promises and do the will of the highest bidders -- Big Pharma; the Military Industrial Complex; Israel; Fortune 500 companies; the Special Interests groups with the deepest pockets.

I can't think of a single person in D.C. who actually has America's best interests at heart other than Thomas Massie and usually Rand Paul.

It's all a power and money game.

Years ago my late Papa warned me about it.

If the democrats retake power all Americans will regret it.

Democrats will quickly collapse America and enslave its population. They will never allow another opportunity for justice to exist. The Trump people are being set up to take the fall for the war with an inside trade scandal.

When you live in pods and eat bugs, know Israel is greater for your sacrifice.

And yet, everything they do increases those prices. Democrats lecturing anyone on affordability is fodder for low human capital.

Democrats are running on "We care more about illegal aliens than we do American citizens".
And, "We won't take your guns ... as long as you promise to kill a Republican. Everybody else's, though, they're ours."
And, "Free sex change operations! Need a dick? Come get one!"
And, "We're opposed to war. In fact, we're opposed to any use of force to protect America. We just believe in talking!"
And, "Tampons: They Not Just For Girls Anymore!"
And, "Our welfare program includes Coke and Twinkies. Theirs doesn't!"
And, "If you're white, you ain't right!"

They have a fantastic message, don't you think?!

Whats the price of diesel? Whats the size of the deficit? How many wars are we in? Is the Middle Class growing or shrinking?
