Trump attacking Iran took courage

Anytime one engages in a military conflict they are taking risks as a rule. So, what were the risks Trump was taking? He is now faced with the notion that he and his immediate family will forever be at risk for assassination from Iran. In fact, they were after Trump for assassinating an Iranian general that was known for killing Americans in the Middle East during his first term. But now I think the risk has exponentially increased, not just for Trump but for his family as well.

Secondly, you don't know the repercussions in terms of a response. Will they use a WMD now of some sort against you or use sleeper cells in your country to be activated or some sort of other diabolical reaction.

But lastly, there are the political repercussions, especially before a midterm election that you simply have to win or your whole Presidency will get shot down into impeachment mode 24/7 as we saw the last time he lost the midterms to the DNC.

Because of this, I believe Trump believed they were on the verge of having nuclear weapons, or he would have at least waited till after the midterms to avoid the risk of losing the midterms because of it.

Right or wrong, it took courage
Nah. After he saw Bush lie us into Iraq he knew exactly how to sucker you into going along. Is it unpatriotic to say the mission didn't accomplish what it was suppose to do?

I would have been okay with Trump saying simply this. Iran has been a thorn in our sides in the region for far too long. Either they stop the terrorism and work with us, or we go to war with them. Bomb the shit out of them. That would have been good enough for me. But don't lie to us again. Say they are 6 months away from a Nuke. Bibi's a liar too.

The blustering blowhard's risk in kowtowing to Likud is that his lies concerning the success of his gambit reek of the globalism the MAGA cult abhors, and his fake claim will be exposed in time.

Courage, or supreme stupidity and narcissism? I say the latter. Trump's own national intelligence advisor even said that Iran had no plans on building a nuclear weapon. I also wouldn't put it past Trump to start a war just so he can show off the US military either. He brags about it enough. Heck, he even talked about ethnically cleansing Palestine. This not courage, it's cowardice.
