You’re arguing with a point I didn’t make.
The question isn’t whether Iran lost revenue, it’s whether that kind of pressure actually changes their behavior. Historically, it hasn’t.

Here's some hard facts. Before this lunacy 139 ships on average passed trough the straight every day. Currently, according to reports they are charging 2 million a ship to pass now. And they have already said they want control over Hormuz to be a condition of every any peace deal
That's 278 million on average daily in eternity.
They are getting zero tolls while under USA military blockade.
Arguments made they never got paid before as it is an international water passage. It's been posted here. I'm not certain they've been charging a toll forever. Link it.
