Are you serious? Washington D.C. doesn't have a 4th of July Parade? EVERY TINY ONE HORSE (OR NO HORSE) TOWN AROUND HERE HAS A PARADE ON THE 4TH.

Towns surrounding DC have Parades. DC itself packs hundreds of thousands if not a million people onto rhe Mall from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol and adjacent streets for a huge fireworks display.
