- Donald Trump launched a new attack on Hillary Clinton today linking her to Mexican Billionaire Carlos Slim Helu. He is a major investor in the New York Times, which broke the smear job story of 2 women who claim Trump sexually assaulted them, mnay years ago. The Wall Street Journal, citing an unnamed Trump adviser, reported the Slim allegations would emerge soon.
During a speech Greensboro, N.C., Trump addressed Slim and the Times story's allegations that he sexually assaulted women.
"No paper is more corrupt than the failing New York Times," Trump said. "The good news is it is failing, it won't be around too much longer, but they're really, really bad people.
"The largest shareholder is Carlos Slim. He comes from Mexico. He has given many millions to the Clintons. Reporters of the New York Times, they're not journalists, they're corporate lobbyist for Carlos Slim and Hillary Clinton."
