The "existential threat" is Netanyahu's way of hanging on to power. Israel has been threatening Iran since 1992.
Remember. Israel bought all it's oil from Iran for decades. They also provided Iran with weapons and intelligence during the 8 year war with Iraq.
This is farce. It's Netanyahu running a game on the US while he continues to build settlements in the West Bank and collect foreign aid from the US.
