The only way one can say that they are the same is if you simply chnage the definition of Liberalism. that is all you've done here. It's all you ever do. Of course it is one big lie, but that is SOP for you too isn't it?
Summary
1. Liberalism is a political ideology that thinks that an individual is free from all interferences and restrictions. Communism does not give any emphasis to individual freedom. It is a political ideology that stands for equality of all.
2. In communism, power is equally shared by everyone. But in Liberalism there is no power sharing but every one considers being free from the other.
3. Communism gives priority to the welfare of a society, liberalism gives priority to the rights of an individual.
4. There may be some form of government in Liberalism but in Communism there is no government as it implies a class less and state less society.
5. Liberalism focuses on a balance between individual and community responsibilities. Communism focuses entirely on community responsibility.

The candidate of the party is the criminal Hillary Cllinton...who barely beat out the socialist/communist, Bernie Sanders.
Let's compare the aims of the communist party to that of the Democrat....
How about you take a look at the aims of the Communist Party, USA, and the aims of the modern Democrat Party.
Watch, and note the consubstantial basis of both the aims of the Communist Party and the Democrat Party:

Now....wouldn't an honest appraisal agree that all or almost all are clearly the aims and direction of Democrats/Liberals/Progressive leaders?

In October 1919, Lenin paid a secret visit to the laboratory of the great physiologist I. P. Pavlov, a Russian physiologist known chiefly for the concept of the conditioned reflex. In his classic experiment, he found that a hungry dog can be trained to associate the sound of a bell with food and will salivate at the sound even in the absence of food. Lenin wanted to find out if his work on the conditional reflexes of the brain might help the Bolsheviks control European behaviour.
“I want the masses of Russia to follow a Communistic pattern of thinking and reacting,” Lenin explained. Pavlov was astounded. It seemed that Lenin wanted him to do for humans what he had already done for dogs.
“Do you mean that you would like to standardise the population of Russia? Make them all behave in the same way?” he asked. “Exactly” replied Lenin. “Man can be corrected. Man can be made what we want him to be.”…
