Tribute to musicians no longer with us.

Saw the late great John Entwistle at Toad's Place New Haven from about 10 feet away.

The late great Shawn Lane on guitar.

I worked with him and The Who a couple times. The last time being in 2000. He died less than 2 years after I worked with him.

He was a great bass player.

I'll kick it off with some Jimi Hendrix tributes....
Little Wing starts at 9:45....
( Paul's playing makes up for his less-than-perfect singing...)

I never worked with Jimi Hendrix. He died before I started working with musicians.

I did work with his sister. Twice.

I worked with Rush so many times I can't remember how many.

I just love them. They are so wonderful to work with and Neil was a genius on drums. My only complaint was on stage it wasn't easy to photograph him. He was surrounded by a huge drum set and half the time the shots looked like a disembodied head hovering over the drums. LOL.

I cried when Neil died. I will cry when Alex and Geddy die too.

He just died like a week ago.

I worked with him and the band just once. In 2013.

I was surprised and saddened to read about his death.

They were a lot of fun to work with and they gave me a lot to photograph.

I loved working with them.
