She said that if a person requests the camera be shut off that it must be, she is a lawyer and is supposed to know these laws.

First, it wouldn't help her as the other officers would also have their cams on also.

However, is she right or not? I don;t know the law, but I do know I would NEVER want them turned off. If she is correct though, it might make for an interesting case in which she could be freed on a technicality.

If she is wrong though, this not only hurts her case but also her career qualifications.

And I had a job to go to. I dont remember if I called in sick or took vacation? But I went back to work? No idea how I got back to "home" w/o car in CA you are stuck. SJ is not very walkable.
